They announced a filler arc for this 6 month period which is a time skip in the manga. The mangaka is part of the production. It's supposed to help better explain the fighting system. About as good as you can get for a filler arc! This basically is canon but just not shown in the manga!

    Hmm. I accidentally saw some upcoming characters in my journeys of the internet. In the previous OP the queen is the one to the left of that shot with the other 2 noble leaders. Not even seeing anything on him and going just by the show, the one in the middle, the evil Gaara-looking fucker is clearly the Spade King. By process of elimination, the Diamond King is on the right but in shadow. They all seem exponentially more competent than King Clover! We also see her in the ED and she is beautiful in both shots. I actually thought these were 2 different characters. Just wait for her makeover... NEVERMIND LOL MAKEOVER HAPPENED ALREADY I DON'T EVEN NEED THE SPOILER TAG!

    So he is going to blow up the Earth in one year but wants to enjoy spending time with them? He says this after threatening their families? And again why not just blow it up now? And why go along with this government deal? May be taking inspiration from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which was over-the-top, absurd, nonsensical, and ridiculous. Blowing up the Earth to build a highway then building a new one at the end. Yeah. Gotta say that wasn't my cup of tea either. But we'll see how this goes.

    I meant were the lines calling him a little man and the voice sounding male dub changes. If this was literally said in the first episode they shouldn't be fooled long. But again as I said I already knew this going in he was a guy. But still, myself or anyone else shouldn't be fooled more than a few minutes of the first episode.

    They just called Nagisa a little man so I don't see how this character is a trap or it's a secret he's a guy. Plus the voice is clearly male, at least to me. Unless these were dub changes which I doubt. But I also already knew he was a guy before now.

    Blew up 70% of the moon? That would definitely cause issues for the Earth as far as tides etc. Plus gravity would crush it back into a spherical shape. Well we definitely aren't going for scientific realism here lmao. Really? F-22s and Seal Team 6 and their peers couldn't take this guy down but these kids will?? Why is he waiting a year to blow up the Earth instead of just doing it now? Japan of all countries has custody of him? Weapons that hurt him but not humans. That's good haha. This is... quite the setup, and a lot of exposition to get here. I guess we just have to roll with the ridiculousness. And I guess the author just wanted to get to this point right away instead of starting with the invasion and discovery of alien life that is more powerful than us and malicious. That could have been good, but we have seen that story dozens of times.

    Is he really? Didn't even know he was the main character. From what I saw/heard/read (again didn't look deeply into it all) came off as a minor side character. That was another reason I didn't want to watch this show. I think I somehow never managed to watch a show with a trap before. To say the least I am not a fan of the concept. I also thought traps were considered a transphobic concept. Well, at least I won't be fooled since I already found out about this from clips etc.
