I don't recall the tone emitting cross walks at all. Strange I have never seen this in any other anime. I'm not remembering these Animatrix shorts very well either.

I thought for sure the kids were lying about the cat being there. So this abandoned building must be a glitch in the matrix. Yeah that truck and those suits don't look suspicious at all hahaha.

Yeah, the more this world is expanded upon, the more the premise falls apart. The first movie worked well by itself, but beyond that... Still, you think the writers' of this could have at least done some basic scientific research. Unless maybe they were forced to follow stuff the Wachowskis had laid out.

When this was made, it was initially meant to be taking place in "present day." x_x
