I'm not sure what you're saying. Are you saying the child of prophecy thing was made up after the fact? Because the whole show we've been told how "special" (lol) Naruto is. Besides, the Nine Tails thing was a kept a secret from him, too. Actually, hasn't the way it's been stated that they didn't realize Naruto was the child of prophecy? Jiraiya thought it was Pain at first or something. So, they can't tell him he's the child of prophecy if they don't know that he is.

If you've ever bashed a finger or toe hard enough, the nail will turn purple, maybe even black, depending on how bad it is. Jason was torturing the hell out of Kaneki's fingers and toes. I didn't even notice the "eyeliner." That could maybe be from sleep deprivation, or part of the transformation. As for the white hair, I thought that was pretty obvious it was from the Super Ghoul transformation. Why are people assuming it's from torture? The whisp of white hair we saw at the end of the episode before the season finale was to hint at the transformation, which happened while he was out and was subtle.

We've been getting error codes when pages refuse to load during Toonami. That's in addition to the lag. It's the same as it was before the move.

As I said, I'm not alone on this opinion. People on the forums, the guys on the Toonami Showdown Podcast, have all made the same or similar arguments for why the show is bad. Soooo yeah you don't have a leg to stand on here. That sure sounds like you ragequit because you had nothing to respond with. That's more apologist nonsense for this shit show. I may not have watched every UC Gundam series to completion but I've seen enough of their content, especially the original, and I watched Char's Counterattack; I probably know the lore better than you do with your "passing knowledge." Knowing what's going on and being able to follow it, which can be a chore as the show has a bad habit of failing to identify factions and characters, much less their motivations, doesn't make it sit any better. Hell, all anyone should've done is watched the recaps and the last episode. So, Unicorn's own failings aren't predicated on what came before, whether you think that previous stuff was good or not (I don't), or knowing the UC lore, the show is hated because the characters are insufferable, the story is a cliche joke, and therefore you don't care about anything that happens and just want it to end. As I said, even people who LIKE UC Gundam can't stand this show. So yeah, nobody is hating this show because they missed out on some fanwanks. Just FYI they spruced up the art and animation for the TV version, so....

Just as I and about everyone else predicted! Shock of all shocks, after the brain trust put Jack reruns at the top of the block they did shit ratings, they got booted, and cost us the opening slot! GOOD JOB ADULT SWIM! Hahahahahaha wait what? They're sticking it at the end? And starting it over? :D :D :D I mean, fine... it's probably going to be a different set of people who start watching the run at the end of the block, but you already did a marathon and reran this show on multiple days in addition to the failed rerun at the top of the block. There's no more appetite for this at this point. Congrats on shooting yourself in the foot with a gatling gun and Bebop-ing Jack within the matter of a few months! But, at least it won't cause any more hemorrhaging to the rest of the block and the threat of further downsizing is averted.

Well with all the mysteriousness and vagueness going on you can't be too sure of anything, really. For a minute the way they were talking it sounded like the three of them were allies and part of this invasion force, until we saw Ymir's past, of course. I was talking about Ymir's backstory. It was about as overdone as Robin's. Just over-the-top tragic.

No amount of "analysis" is going to make the 3D picture appear and magically make Unicorn a good show. I probably know more about UC Gundam than you (unfortunately), and I wasn't invested at all. It was torture from beginning to end. Banagher was a parody of a stereotypical Gundam main character, the biggest bitch ever, the worst. Riddhe was annoying as fuck as well. He was a douche and pretty much nothing he did made sense. In fact, many of the characters had questionable to nonsensical motivations. Then the show tries to shovel philosophy bullshit down your throat left and right. Marida, the one likable character, dies, to that douche bag Riddhe, no less. Full Frontal (LOL), one of the few characters who thinks rationally and has a plan that makes sense is portrayed as the bad guy, and dies. Oh, and the Newtypes were given some kind of Divine Rule recommendation in that secret deleted paragraph of the constitution. Sure sounds like peace and equality to me! Ultimately, pretty robot battles are wasted because it follows a bunch of characters we hate and/or don't care about chasing a bullshit MacGuffin to a laughable "ending."

Ah, so Pain had to recharge after nuking the village. So, bringing people back to life is just an ability now? That was some pretty great strategy, but are you seriously telling me that no one's tried smoke bombs against Pain?! You leave Gamabunta alone Pain!

Of course Shikamaru has a bum leg. That little turd is Gamabunta's boss? Bullshit! Why isn't Pain using his Force Push Jutsu? That Shadow Clone solution is pretty brilliant, but can't Naruto come up with anything else to attack them with besides Rasen-Shurikens? Rap is crap.
