This dude is really interested in Kaniki it seems. What the hell is a parasite? I'm probably not a very good judge, since French is not my native language, but it sounds pretty good to me. That scene with Toka was one of the few without Kaniki. This show is almost from a first person perspective. What happened to ghoul's being cut proof? A knife does no damage but a shard from a cup does? A bar? So they can drink booze, too? So humans and ghouls can have babies, sort of. And one was born long enough ago to be an adult now? How long have ghouls been around? Of course half breeds are superior. Pfft urban myth yeah right. This other half ghoul obviously exists and we'll no doubt meet them at some point.

I still think Annie's crystal cocoon is bullshit. This author really loves to drip feed progress on the information in this series. Why is it a bigger deal that Wall Rose in particular was breached? They need to show that map again. The Titans are as delightfully weird and creepy looking as ever. Whoa, they went into fast running zombie mode! It's a... Bigfoot Titan? It can talk?! "We." They're working together... collaborating? Well, we kind of got that idea with Annie, but still... Second best to Levi, my ass. This dude is toast. Annnnd it's over already. Can't say the pacing feels much better to me.

Ashi's head looks weird in profile. Nice to see Jack in his prime again, even if it's only in flashback. Are these new adventures we didn't hear about or are they from the original seasons? This guy sounds like the dude from the Navy commercials. Alien rave. Ashi is getting into it. Nice to see her happy. Scaramouche is still alive! "What a weirdo. Looks like a talking penis!" Wasn't expecting that from this show. Oh hey it's the Clydes playing Tron Disc Wars with the worm. Wait it just occurred to me. Are the Sandworms from Shogo somehow linked to the ones in Sand Whale and Me?!

I thought the Trigun movie was made mostly because of non-Japanese fans. God damn it Alchemist.

In a more just alternate universe, this happened to Hiatus instead. Maybe it's time to enlist Quinn Mallory. Anyway, this is yet another case of something taking off in America but but not doing so well in its home country, like Deadman Wonderland, Trigun, Watanabe, etc. Hard to believe an ecchi show bombed though. But yeah I never did get around to checking it out.

*twitch* Samurai Jack must have survived on the sheer brute force might of its mainstream popularity. Many other shows wouldn't do so well in a situation that looked like the block got canceled with no notice that week. The rest of the block not doing so well, though. And of course "Jack still did good" doesn't absolve AS of what they did. It succeeded in spite of their dumbfuckery. It doesn't make up for our shows getting taken away from us for a week.

Holy shit. I haven't looked at the ratings in eons and now the later shows are getting numbers on the same level Bebop and the other ASA Albatrosses got when the block got chopped in half. Not a good sign. Also, cancel Hiatus.

I enjoyed the slice of life stuff. It was comforting... The "feelings" are way worse in Unicorn. There's no comparison. Besides, what I loved about Mikazuki was how he ruthlessly, mercilessly slaughtered his enemies. He wasn't a whiny crybaby bitch like Banagher, Amuro, and 99% of other Gundam protagonists. And now with Unicorn all the other obnoxious Gundam tropes have been piled on thick. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER BLUAHRHBUHURHUR!

I figure Mob Psycho became untouchable once it became a broadcast dub. Sad. Is this a different Lupin than the Fujiko one they couldn't air because of the nakie ladies? Lupin was never my favorite show in the world or anything, but I enjoyed it. Certainly would take it over Joke-yo Drool.

I've been thinking from the beginning that they should've gotten Re:Zero instead. It's supposed to be pretty good and it has cute girls in it! I've heard that it would be difficult to localize because it's "too Japanese," though. Not sure how true that is though. Yeah, they often try to honor what the fans want. But the fans don't always want... good things.

I heard that too. That whitewashing is still pretty shitty though.
