I have been sick for weeks. My doctor thought I had a cold or really bad allergies, so he gave me Prednisone. Bad news is, it makes you all zooted up, so not a good idea to give to someone with bipolar disorder. It basically simulated a manic episode. On top of that, he said it was supposed to make me feel better quickly, but I got worse. I ended up having to see anther doctor at a walk-in clinic Saturday after Thanksgiving. The doctor I saw there said it was probably sinus infection or something, gave me a Z-pack and some sort of pearls for cough, told me to take Mucinex. She confirmed the Prednisone effects and told me to stop taking it. Also said that she didn't think Prednisone caused another infection but just that whatever I had wasn't affected by it and got worse. I think I may have some of what both doctors said. Started finally feeling better after this, been taking that stuff and Delsym. But still not feeling 100%. I haven't been able to get an allergy shot in forever, since you aren't supposed to when you're sick, I hope I don't have to be stepped back down on my dose. Think I will probably try to see my doctor next week to get his opinion again after how things have progressed, and see if I am good enough to get an allergy shot again. I almost never get sick, rarely this bad, and never this long that I can remember! This, on top of my bi-polar med Lamictal losing effectiveness, and my original psychiatrist retired, my replacement moved to California, I saw a nurse practitioner psychiatrist, and she gave me incorrect instructions and I got vertigo from an increased dose of one of my meds... or Nexium, not sure. Stopped taking Nexium, went back to regular my regular sleeping aid dose of Seroquel, and seeing gasterolgist Monday to finally get these indigestion issues figured out. Having to drive way out of town to see a psychiatrist now, see her for the first time... December 31st, all that was available. I'm only 34! I shouldn't be falling apart like this, damn it!

How is Ouran not terrible? Fangirl bait and yaoi bait everywhere. The whole premise is silly. A girl no one can tell is a guy? A host club? Women pay to hang out with guys? And guys like this, at that? Everything is more like England than Japan? The characters are annoying. It's torture to sit through. I actually hoped the one glasses guy who pretended to be a rapist actually was one, because then it would actually get interesting! I only watched it because a girl I was friends with on the boards from way back when, Dietsoda, if anyone remembers her, we were watching shows together, and she was really insistent I watched this. The same person who got me to skip ahead and watch the sub and read the manga of Bleach after the dub delay at episode 167 (she was a new fan of Bleach and wanted to keep going,) so to be sure, I was glad I started watching shows with her, but I did not care for Ouran at all.
