Anime version of kefla def wants the monkey D anyway, so I think there is some overpowering feelings there. On the other hand the manga they don't even fight so there's that. -

Yes and no. Zeno was going to destroy all universes involved in the tournament from the start. Though that could have been billions of years away if at all since he tends to forget things -

DBS has the worst op of the series -
If anything they should charge more money. The price of things have all gone up. Toonami's budget problems are their issue. As well I don't think there will ever be a time where toonami says they aren't having budget problems. They're a late night block that is only competing against CNN midnight news.

Pretty much this. Funimation released the episodes before they air on AS/T. Most people already have their dub fix and aren't tuning in. The only way I could really think of Toonami to try and bring in the young demographic is to try and launch some sort of twitch or youtube thing and have v-tuber characters playing shit games and talking to fans. Also have garbage give aways for participating. I mean fuck what does it cost for them to get a sweatshop shirt that says toonami and send out to people who interact. No AS/T just wants to focus on twitter, it's why they abandoned ASMB. Twitter even is becoming a dying platform because of the drama that is on it, while Twitch and Youtube are being viewed as the better social medias. Probably more due to being able to turn off comments.

If I see something is shit, it's harder to sell it because I'm not enthused about it. Some people have the talent of a used car salesman, many do not. There is no good way to promote it is the issue. The more people know about it the worse the pre-launch reaction will be. It's just going to get dumped onto the block probably between MHA and Black clover. Also it hampers expectations. If people don't think much of something, then the disappointment will be less.

This is when I'd go into "listen here you little shit" mode.

I can say there are parts of The Room I enjoyed, it doesn't make the whole picture good. The fact that there was any input and overview on FLCL is almost shocking. That a human with working eyes could look at that and say this will do. Season 3 was literally another scrapped anime project they had then threw Haruko into a few background scenes. Season 2 was just incoherent, the world felt un-lived in. The characters were mostly flat. Dark skin haruko had some promise to stir things up, barely gets used and is killed off. Haruko never feels like she has an active role. The class feel like NPC's. Naota's narration in FLCL helped flesh things out and add atmosphere. He would think about other characters and it would flesh out the story. The girl in season 2 I can't even remember any of their names, didn't think of anything. All we knew is that she had dreams about death and had a thing for muscles in her class. Naota even does a short narrator role for 5 seconds. Though those aren't her thoughts. So much felt like a missed opportunity when they had 12 episodes to work with.

Considering that all of his shows have some sort of music influence from america it's fair to say that. HSM teen pop seemed a bit of an odd addition. Then again guy could have just been trying his hand at satire. Still standing by that it wasn't as good as champloo or bebop, but if that was his vision without any input from AS/T then I'll take back all the positive aspects I attributed to Demarco and his staff for input; as there was none.

Well that was the only one that I was even giving them credit that was any good. Odd that Japan would do a HS musical parody episode when it bombed over there. Japan didn't like HS musical so much they wouldn't even list the sales numbers for the premier despite it getting promoted to hell with comedians. You're probably right though.

It's almost like the guys who have millions of views on their comic, understand what fans want and what industry trends are. So a waste of money that nobody really wants. Really sounds par the course at this point. To be an optimist and since it's I.G I think the best we can hope for is dystopian sci fi. Probably a Dimension W or s-CRY-ed knock off with Champloo or bebop music thrown in.
