They’ve always been allowed to do this within 100 miles from the border. This ruling happened because someone that owned a bed and breakfast near the Canadian border was asked by agents about their guests. The bb owner explained an employee was picking up some guests from Turkey. Well that’s all it took for the employee to be followed and stopped once the guests were in the vehicle. I’m actually surprised this happened at the norther border apparently this SCOTUS doesn’t think we have rights and says that Congress has to write them into law. It’s qualified immunity for feds.

Maybe it’s always been but laws in the south west brought this into question cuz they were stopping people they thought looked “Mexican” because of hairstyles and skin color.

It’s an excuse to get into Brown people’s houses that live near the southern border, and to stop their cars. We can almost guarantee that people near the northern border don’t have much to worry about….YET.
