  1. I was going back to my car after we were done in the store. There was this dude who I'm pretty sure was a Dollar General employee standing at the driver's window of the car parked next to mine. I said excuse me and squeezed passed him to get to my car. Saw him handing a little ziplock baggie with some green leaves in it to the driver.
  2. The only "goal" I have to worry about is productivity which refers to how much of my day is spent doing billable services. I get paid regardless though if I don't meet it there are corrective actions that can be taken including termination if it goes on long enough. And I get a bonus if I exceed the minimum requirement.
  3. Nah if anything it shows me how good my job is I just packed up and left once I started feeling really shitty didn't even need to say anything. And I know I'll be able to make up the hours because I'm starting early tomorrow.
  4. RIP in peace. me
  5. Whooo so happy to be done with sitting in a classroom all day

  7. Ya I've never been to one before. There are a few in this area but none super close. It was a cool experience. No yard speakers you just had to tune to a certain radio station.
  8. I mean there's nothing to really complain about so far. The team I'll be working with seems nice and really hard working. The time keeping system they use is super flexible and actually treats workers like adults that they trust to get the work done without having to "clock in" and out right at a specific time... I don't really like having to sit in classrooms all day for training, but at the same time it's nice to get the training before I just get thrown in to everything.
  9. It was freezing in the training room day 1 but did I make a thread about it? Not until right now!
  10. Ya it's super flexible it's nice
  11. I have to be doing something directly work related but it's cool to have the ability to basically clock in and out at will. I can "clock out" in the middle of the day and do whatever then come back later if I want. My first job was similar to this one but we had to use a phone app to clock in and out and if the location you clocked in or out at wasn't "right" you'd hear about it. First time I used it it showed me as clocking in at home for some reason and they were ready to write me up for it before they even asked me about it. Was afraid to clock in anywhere but the office time clock after that. This job we keep track of our own time 100%.
  12. My new job has us "clock in" using an online form and they said in training that if we do trainings or notes or something from home we can clock in for that. Only got 35 hours this week during training so I'm taking advantage of that to get some trainings done. I have a lot to do.
  13. What restaurant is it can I come just for the food
  14. Thanks for pointing this out. Common core is basically how I've been doing math in my head all along. It's much more intuitive when you actually take the time to look at it.
  15. No it's because I'm out of shape as fuck and actually went to the gym
  16. Am I dying
