  1. Wanna know the worst kind of food to get stuck in your mouth? Pieces of popcorn. Guess where the "outer shell" of a popped kernal is currently lodged? Give up? My right tonsil. (Yeah, I never had my tonsils removed. lol)
  2. Let's Husker Don't and say we Husker Did. lol (Kidding. Husker Du is awesome)
  3. I don't, but some of my friends from high school do. (And they tell me theirs is run by nosy busybodies and assholes.)
  4. This girl I once knew, both on here and in real life...sort of. Today is her birthday, and she was always pretty nice. I wish we hadn't lost touch, but life happens. I need to drop her a line and say hello. I think I'll do that today.
  5. Dude, that sounds good. (Looks good, too.)
  6. Lasagna! (I feel like Garfield. lol)
  7. Hmm...Well, at this point, anything is possible so I'll go ahead and say you might have a point. Also, I had forgotten that Woody's brother had hired Saleh. Thanks for reminding me.
  8. Also, I saw this. Source: Patriots plan to start rookie QB Drake Maye against Texans. Oh, boy. He gon' die, and it'll be by our hand.
  9. That's just...wow. WOW! What are the Jets doing? The head coach is not the issue here! Hackett didn't call a very good game on offense and Aaron Rodgers, despite committing multiple turnovers, still had a chance to win the game when he threw that game-sealing interception. Rodgers made a bad decision on that throw. I get the need to make a change, but Saleh wasn't the issue? Plus, you're 2-3 after five games in, which means you have time to turn the season around! The only explanation I can come up with is he had lost the locker room. That would explain it. (Sorry. I've been gone all day and just got back home.)
  10. Homemade chicken quesadillas. Yumners!
  11. I hope this game ends soon. I'm exhausted, and I took a two-hour nap, too. (I know. I know. The Cardinals came back against the Niners. I slept through the second half of the game. lol)
  12. You're welcome. And I was mistaken. Fairbairn didn't make it from fifty. He made it from FIFTY-NINE! Again, great for me since it was for my Texans, but still, guys like him, Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey, and Ravens kicker Justin Tucker are making them like they're nothing, and we're not talking about making them in Denver either. Fairbairn made it at NRG Stadium in Houston, which sits at only fifty feet above sea level! I'm not joking when I say this: It looked like he could've made that thing from sixty-five yards. He had that much room to spare. (His career long is 61 yards so that might be a bit of a stretch, but not by much.) I'm serious. Somebody needs to do a study on this. This whole thing is nuts!
  13. What in the world is going on with all these kickers who can make 50-yard field goals like it's almost a chip shot? Good Lord Almighty! I'm not necessarily complaining because Fairbairn made one from fifty yards to win us the game against the Bills, but goodness gracious. It's almost as if they're more athletic than in years past and therefore able to generate more power as a result. Why do I say that? Well, Charles Davis brought it up during the game today. He thinks kickers nowadays are able to nail field goals that are fifty yards or longer because kickers are more athletic, as in they played different sports while they were younger as well as even playing different positions before switching to being a full-time kicker. I don't know if he's on to something, but that would potentially explain it. Good grief!
  14. The Bills tied it up after a forced fumble by the defense, but we found a way to win. Ka'imi Fairbairn with the 59-yard game-winning-field goal to win the game in front of the home crowd! Buffalo Bills - 20 Houston Texans - 23 By the way, the last time Buffalo won in Houston against the Texans, Nov. 19, 2006, David Carr was still the quarterback for Houston.
  15. Buffalo's made it a game. 20-17 Texans in the fourth quarter, but we have the ball and Josh Allen might have a concussion.
