    Much bizarreness at Wrigley today. To quote Jim DeShaies, "I have never felt more compelled to pay attention to a game". Padres top of the 1st: 4 walks, 1 HBP, 2 hits that never left the infield, 3 runs. Cubs bottom of the 1st: 4 walks, 1 balk, 1 WP that hits the infield wall approx. 1/3 the way up the 1st base line ("Juuuuust a bit outside"). 5 runs.

    Not that it matters. I spent the majority of 18 years trying to get people working their first job to give a damn about it - with varying results. These days, it's a surprise to find a counter straightened and faced.

    I still say, send them in trade to El Salvador for everyone this administration sent to El Salvador. Confiscate their cash & holdings first, of course, and use that to fund all the Depts they've stripped of money. Elon's alone should keep SSA solvent for quite some time, even after giving everyone a disbursement boost.
