I have to till the land this weekend, or the first of next week.
I have to do it all at once, far as the tilling. The damn thing has a gas leak, so I have to do that part as quickly as possible. Usually takes a couple of hours. Then we plant the plants by hand. Usually takes another hour or two. Last year I bought about 100 tomato plants. I'm not getting near that many this year. Probably about 40. And bell peppers and banana peppers. Squash, zucchini and cucumbers. That's gonna do it this year. Last year I had jalapeno peppers and cayenne peppers and onions. But my onions didn't do shit. Garlic and corn didn't do shit either, so I'm not planting them again. I had okra do well, but we don't really care for it, so no to that too. And I planted a few green beans, but not enough. So, I'm skipping them this year too.
We already have the garden marked off with stakes. I just have to till it up.
