The animosity towards it continues to grow, and current 18 year olds most likely too young to remember when dubbed anime was all over TV and were raised on subbed shit from Crunchyroll.
The target demographic for Toonami's revival, as old as it makes me feel, are getting married / having kids etc., and the purpose of dubs being a gateway to entry for a new generation has instead turned into a point of contention, and thus have become obsolete.
