Honestly bro there's not much originality left. When I write something I always do as much research as possible to make sure it hasn't already been done. That's why I write a lot about my own life but even then someone out there has probably already come up with something similar. There's so many fucking comedians that it's almost impossible to come up with a 100 percent original bit. What I will say is there's a difference between parallel thinking that you can't help and outright stealing.

There's actually people doing zoom shows. I'm not totally opposed to it but what works on there wouldn't necessarily work on an in person crowd. I can't really explain it. I'm sure you know what I mean being that you're in a band. I'll do it of someone asks me but I'm not blowing up inboxes begging to do a zoom show. I have done a podcast and a script reading online already which was actually pretty cool.

Kinison is one of those comics you really shouldn't attempt to mimic unless you're really good at it and it's understood you're doing a tribute show or something. There's a difference between doing a tribute show and being an open micer that's trying to bite their style. I see comics constantly try to do jeselniks dark shit and they wonder why it bombs.
