  1. “Why are people watching Netflix? No I’m not jealous! FLCL sequels were a great idea!” - Jason DeMarco. I have no opinion on the topicals, but is there sufficient shoe hype?
  2. UC did much better on YouTube and Netflix apparently. But I cannot get there for that weird Tuesday airing. I mean come on, why Tuesday?
  3. Tiger Mask W 33-36. Finally put New Japan Pro Wrestling’s gloriously awesome and silly advertisement to rest. Armored Trooper VOTOMS 1.
  4. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-02-14/production-i.g-makes-hand-drawn-anime-in-4k-hdr-for-netflix-this-fall/.143422 Experimental stuff like this can be fun but when the novelty wears off, well, who remembers Blue Submarine #6? Still, someone has to be first.
  5. Tiger Mask W 27-32.
  6. Or they watched it elsewhere. Netflix keeps recommending Gun Gale Online, aka the Good One.
  7. More proof people are really, really dumb.

    Apex Legends

EA Games. Ruin everything. What’s the point of a Titanfall spinoff without the bigass robots?
  9. Given the situation, the conclusion that his chosen industry has made is to boot him from productions and not let him in conventions. I think that’s fair all things considered for being a creep. And when it comes down to it, the wrongs of ANN being a bunch of self righteous idiots who can’t keep their house in order but whine about Shield Hero doesn’t excuse Vic. They’re separate.
  10. Same. It was a porno site where people occasionally gave out about gay pairings. A porno site without porno is just...pointless.
  11. Vic is a skeevy dude, and well, hasn’t this been an open secret for years now? It’s just no one wanted to really say anything until now. Granted, I view ANN roughly the same way I view a lot of video game “journalists”, but when your co-workers as well as fans all go in on you, and your primary defense is a fan club run by your own mother...I’m sorry, but the evidence seems to support to accusers a lot more. I’m inclined to believe the people who have come forward, the industry insiders, and everyone else over the fan club.
  12. It clearly isn’t working. I’m not surprised RT moved first. Once they made gen:Lock with all those A-list actors (Michael B. Jordan, Dakota Fanning, and David Tenant) their level of scrutiny was going to increased a hundred fold. Then the green light was there, and so many VA’s have horror stories about this dude, so it didn’t take a lot of pushing.
  13. Even the people who liked the first one didn’t want to see the sequels. It got dissed by the New York Times TV critic when he put A Place Further than Universe on the NYT best of 2018 list.
  14. They saw “Toonami” and assumed it was dead.
  15. Head of Toonami and the only reason FLCL got two sequels.
  16. Well don’t let Jason DeMarco hear you say that.
  17. No wonder Gen resigned. This is a huge stain on FUNi’s resume now, and pleading ignorance isn’t going to help.
  18. When there’s several plumes of it around the same area, yeah.
  19. Who wants to see the anime that results from someone watching Green Book?
  20. People had legitimate reasons for bitching about SAO and it’s getting a Netflix series. Given that, Shield Hero is gonna get a goddamn summer blockbuster.
  21. Considering all the inroads Rooster Teeth made with A-list celebrities, a wise decision.
  22. See, if it was just fans, that would be one thing, but the fanclub, the co-workers, all the other stuff, and the fact that these rumors have been around in some form for a decade, you kinda put two and two together. SJW's suck, but when you call everyone an SJW the term becomes meaningless.
  23. Fan clubs are relics of the days of CD clubs, and the like, a pre-internet way of expressing fandom.
  24. Adventure Time? Why the fuck would the average Toonami viewer care about Adventure Time?
