You don't have to be 21 to disco dance. Getting served alcohol or gambling require a minimum age. So, the red carding isn't likely to take place unless the younger dancers are boozers too.

The club she's talking about is owned and operated by a casino, just the same as certain other casinos own and operate night clubs on premises.

Because I work in a casino and so I know what goes on at the night clubs. They won't card you to get in. They MIGHT card you when you belly up to the bar, ask for a drink and you look like a seventeen year old.

The Rite Aid stores here card everybody for cigarettes. Eight or eighty, they card. I don't have a problem with that as long as it's applied equally, like it should be for voting. The problem starts when people go through the gate like a herd of elephants and one gets singled out just because she uses too much eye liner.

When you're as close to my age as she is, getting carded is condescending and flat out rude. It's an insult. The only reason they picked on her was her makeup and choice of wardrobe.

They are issued by the County government, usually for the elderly or handicapped people who can't drive. I don't know whether her's was scanned.

Her county government issued card should have ended the questions. Hell, the last time I got carded, I used my Casino Control Commission license. It passed.
