I've never really subscribed to the notion that having a lot of money automatically makes you smart. There are plenty of people in the world who I wouldn't classify as intelligent, at least in my perspective, that make a lot of money. Our cheeto presidente comes to mind right away. As do the likes of people such as Kim Kardashian. I guess some people may consider people like Trump or Kim intelligent and/or talented in their own respects but I just don't see it. Is there correlation in regards to being smart and making money...probably. But by that scale, the richest people in the world would be the smartest as well in some type of ascending order. But we know that's not the case....otherwise ghostie would already have become our supreme ruler by now. As with anything in life, I guess it's a matter of perspective. If you have a lot of money, more power to you but I'd say there are plenty of things in life that I'd put a greater value on than money.

Speaking practically though....being on here is essentially a waste of time (for all of us, not just you). Well at least depending on how you quantify/value your time. If you feel like the time you spent on here doing whatever it is you did was enjoyable and/or productive for you, then it wasn't a waste of time. If it wasn't then maybe it was. At the end of the day, I don't really get that worked up over internet stuff.....but at the same time....I don't know all the backstories so that's probably not a fair perspective for me to have. Anyways, I hate to see people get so worked up over things like this, but again, I don't have an insightful perspective on the matter....so yeah....I'll leave it be

If your forum didn't take 5 minutes to load one page, I'd probably join Naw but seriously though, like they should call a spade a spade. This place is ASMB 2.0. That may not be Luuv's vision for it and that's fine since he started this place up and he's free to kind of lead it as he pleases...but the user base is pretty much all ASMBers. Will that change in the future? Maybe but I don't see it happening....at least not for a long time. I mean this has place has been around for a couple of months now and I really haven't seen new users who aren't former ASMBers. Maybe new users who aren't former ASMBers have been joining but just based on my anecdotal observations that hasn't been the case. I don't really have a dog in the race in terms of believing you over Luuv or Luuv over you because I haven't heard his side of the story and honestly I'm not on here enough to really notice most of the changes/ongoings. At the end of the day it's really about the user experience....if you or anyone else decides to do another forum and it provides a better overall experience then people will join. The great thing is we all have free will, so if something is better then generally people have the opportunity to go with what they like and that inevitably leads to change...one way or the other. I feel for ya in terms of feeling like you gave your all to something and weren't properly recognized (for a lack of a better word) for it but that's just how life goes sometimes. Best not to get so worked up about it. If you feel like you can do something better, go for it. If you don't feel like it....then don't. Life will go on....one way or the other.

It goes in spurts for me. One week I'll get a bunch of calls and texts and the next week it's like I don't exist. But yeah, I mean I typically check my phone every minute or so also. I have all my email accounts setup on my phone (including my work email), so the thing goes off pretty much during all hours of the day. My last job actually had given me a work phone (why do companies always go with freakin Blackberry phones?) and it had gotten really bad. I was literally alternating between 2 phones every couple of minutes. It's like if my phone goes off, I can't help but check what it is. I also have a bunch of sports apps and stuff installed, so during football season or march madness, if I'm doing fantasy league stuff....I'm on the phone throughout the day. I guess it's easier in the summer when there is not as much going on. I'd still say I'm better than most people in terms of phone addiction. Like if I go out to dinner or to the movies or some other activity with someone I never really feel the need to be on the phone to pass the time and can actually pay attention to what I'm suppose to be doing.

Awesome. I mean if there is one thing I've learned over the years, it's that getting involved with a board member always always ends well. I'll consider you my e-mistress from this day forward....at least until Ghostie fully commits....or I get bored.
