And there are convos where I sent ten to fifteen messages to a girl without a reply. I don't like making a young woman look bad, especially when her green online now dot has been flashing for weeks since the convo started. It just makes her (and the others) look not that sociable, which isn't an awful thing because some girls are just so shy, but it makes it look like I developed my social skills back in the day and these girls don't know how to reply because they've grown up attached to their cell phones and Facebook profiles.

Yeah One Piece would have been a massive hit, even in its 4Kids form. The CN execs have known this for years I'm sure and have just made a conscious effort to move those timeslots in a more comedy-driven direction.

Ideally Toonami would be back on weekdays, although it'd be a trade-off with the blood and language content removed, but the fools who run Cartoon Network nowadays think Gumball and Teen Titans Go would get better ratings. The hilarious thing is that if just DB Super and Samurai Jack aired at 4 and 4:30 on CN, not even talking about the rest of the Toonami block, those two series alone would probably be smash hits with the kids because they're sick of these tryhard comedy toons that CN has been trying to push across those timeslots for the past decade plus.

Yeah I'd much prefer Toonami on weeknights. With the way Adult Swim's original series have faltered, it could happen in a few years, although the anime backlash just might prevent is sadly.

Saturday nights on CN have been like this for the past fifteen years, yes even including "SVES", kiddy BS but still primarily anime. I mean this isn't news, it's always been hard to stay up for the entire block lol, especially if you spent your Saturday watching TV or playing games, you're exhausted even by midnight. The only difference now is that, unlike five plus years ago, Toonami is just about the last place you can possibly watch anime on cable TV.

Hmmm yeah well I was 10 when Gundam Wing started airing on Toonami, ya know back in the chubby Tom days, and I really disliked it. I actively avoided watching it after seeing a few episodes because it bored me to death. G Gundam was different because it was action-packed and over the top whereas Wing was political and talky and you had to like the characters and their unique Gundams to like it basically. Unicorn is more or less a more talky version of Mobile Suit Gundam, which I also loved, albeit with a plot that is a bit more intricate and ostensibly not without its imperfections. For a UC Gundam like this, you have to really appreciate the backstory of the Universal Century timeline and you have to immerse yourself in the drama of the small scale story that operates within the greater battle/war.

Yeah Gundam Unicorn is finished. I mean historically when CN/AS has done this, the series has never been shown again, so it'll be permanently removed once the series finale airs, but the good thing about this is that now it'll prevent Gundam IBO Season 2 from airing, so I can get my Unicorn Blu-ray set from Best Buy and Toonami will at least not show IBO S2, which can't possibly be good. Toonami's always been content to group "Gundam" together anyway, so they'll draw correlations and won't dare acquire IBO Season 2 given Unicorm's limited fanfare.

You don't understand how cinema works. Didn't you ever consider that the video might have left those elements out to make the audience hungry to see them in the sequel video? It's a basic Hollywood viewership tactic. I'm a jack of all trades, not a master of cinema, but even I understand how to captivate my audience by leaving it thirsting to see explosions, Zenigundam sleeping with hot b-tches, and martial arts scenes that make Seagal look like a chubby p-ssy, Patience is a virtue. Never criticize masterful work.

But what you don't understand is that Hunter x Hunter really does f-cking suck. If Toonami actually made some commercials for Gundan Unicorm and put it on where Dragon Ball Super, which is trash and utter garbage, airs, then it would receive a ton of more fanfare. And it doesn't help that within the past year they've shown a really sh-tty Gundam series and people have just assumed that they're connected and related to each other f--k that sh-t, grow a brain you idiots they have nothing to do with each other.
