I'm not sure if it actually counts since the monster of the week wasn't tied to the chair (unless there were invisible chains or something), but yeah: In this show, you're forced to listen to the heroines' songs, and by golly you're gonna like them.

I hope I passed the audition.

So it was a live-action reenactment of a bunch of Rick & Morty scenes done in different styles. Interesting, though it feels too close to last year's gag (Smiling Friends redone with puppets) for me. And while there was no stealth premiere of the first episode, we did get a date and teaser. Here it is separate from the gag:

When my sister was bringing me home from seeing Looney Tunes, this song came on as part of what I can only describe as a "2000s cartoon music" playlist, though it was dictated by her Spotify likes. Thank you, SpongeBob.

You and Idol Precure 1 Last day of March, a quarter of the way through the year, and I'm finally gonna give a content rating to an anime episode. Feels even better. Doesn't hurt that it's an episode that slaps. [more bondage than sweet punishment?]

Hell to the yeah. Now we need to make sure everyone that's ever posted about this will buy a ticket. I've already done my part for The Day The Earth Blew Up, and hopefully you can while that's still in theaters.

Oh yeah, I was aware. It was just a matter of waiting. Taped all of 'em last night. Nobody on my feeds is talking about this show (at least not yet...) and I haven't been viewing the threads in here. I should be safe.

The pilot episode is also airing on TBS tonight following March Madness. Now that's a fun throwback, sometime [as] used to do from time to time back in the AT&T days.

I've seen four episodes so far. I really want to get back in, but I also don't want to pay any more for Max, so it looks like I'll be waiting for the marathon so I can DVR it. [again, where's a release of the soundtrack?]

It's not cancelled. On top of that, [as] will continue to air reruns until at least 2030. It doesn't say if they'll be able to premiere new episodes after they're on Fox, though.
