Well, you could complain that Bleach is coming too late in the game for it to be able to draw a crowd, but I ain't. And how cool is it when Toonami does the exact thing we expect from them? Now I have an actual reason to watch my DVR recordings of Blue Exorcist S1. [though... i should do some other shows first]

Personally, these negative comments towards the Lazarus dub are making me want to watch the sub instead, and that's not the kind of thing Toonami needs right now. Guess I'm waiting for the late-night rerun, given that I don't want to pay for Max right now.

I'm not sure if it actually counts since the monster of the week wasn't tied to the chair (unless there were invisible chains or something), but yeah: In this show, you're forced to listen to the heroines' songs, and by golly you're gonna like them.

So it was a live-action reenactment of a bunch of Rick & Morty scenes done in different styles. Interesting, though it feels too close to last year's gag (Smiling Friends redone with puppets) for me. And while there was no stealth premiere of the first episode, we did get a date and teaser. Here it is separate from the gag:

You and Idol Precure 1 Last day of March, a quarter of the way through the year, and I'm finally gonna give a content rating to an anime episode. Feels even better. Doesn't hurt that it's an episode that slaps. [more bondage than sweet punishment?]
