Well they achieved the goal of the ENTIRE block being filled with hits at least, instead of only half of the block being filled with hits.

Toonami also announced, a day after the announcement of SAO III on the block, that they're getting rid of the 4-5 hour. Reruns of Pop Team Epic and Iron-Blooded Orphans will be gone. While I never watched late that night to begin with and I doubt they even care about whatever airs in that timeslot, this means the block will soon be reduced to 5 hours long, further heightening the competition for other anime that many have wished would get more exposure on cable TV. This is now matching the length the crew wanted to work with a year ago. Personally, this means that my usual last anime of the night, Hunter x Hunter, will only end ONE HOUR away from the end of the whole block. I'm not too happy that I will have to stay up til 3 in the morning knowing a show as good as that is now so close to the end of the block by comparison.
