You know this means an end to Toonami calling their anime-funded shorts "secret"? Because the past two times they did that, they were both fan-made Rick and Morty shorts produced by animators from Japan. You cannot keep doing a secret thing three times if the audience recognizes a pattern by the second time. They will come to expect it.

It does seem odd that they would put the immaturely-humored, Western-animated Adult Swim comedy airing BEFORE Shippuden.

For Crunchyroll being so in synergy with Time Warner as it is now, Toonami is sure having a ton of trouble getting anime they own!

To be clear, we only got the first season of Durarara. They never aired Season 2. Yeah Ben, he's been around online all the time. the main reason he's here more often is because COVID changed his schedule to the point where he has more free time to spend here and watching Toonami.

That was from the Tower of God director?!?! I would never have guessed. It doesn't look at all like that show. Not even in the same animation style.

A couple people here made a great point that they probably wouldn't be able to air Tanya the Evil in this political climate and country, because it's about a fictional Nazi-like military government which would hit too close to home here. Then again, if they had aired the other 5 isekais first, then they could feasibly air Isekai Quartet after that, when everyone would be familiar with the injokes from those other shows already. This would need years of prep time though.
