Yeah, the show that used to run on ASA, and then Toonami, Ie, Dragonball Z with swords, ie, Adult Swim's golden goose at the front of the block before Kai arrived? So anything related to it goes here, be it opinions, memories, merch, news, fanart, stories, blah. I don't expect this thread to be very popular here, but hey it's worth a shot. And with me having to do a Bleach fan comic page every week, I KIIIIIIINDA can't forget about it. Goodness. The Bleach game Brave Souls just passed 20 million downloads! I think there's a discerning problem we've touched upon: Japanese studios think the shows Toonami airs are for kids, failing to grasp how it's on a block catering to the OLDER crowd. Indeed, for the longest time, Toonami has aired many shows that were originally considered for kids, which adds to some complex problems with ratings and audience targeting.

They made Wreck-It Ralph. Youtube letsplayers have appeared in their shows and do content for Maker. The got a ton of anime. .... a-they are trying to attract geek viewers. I agree that each network seems to have their own thing to offer, and I believe they each know this so they don't try to overtake a subject matter or theme. This extends into movie studios too (ex: it's why you never see Dreamworks make movies based on fairy tales).

Naruto is my absolute least favorite show on the block. Aside from when I get too tired, it is the one show on the block I consistently always SKIP. I understand why it has a big fanbase, but I don't get why it has to be this big and why the fans have to be so obnoxious (the bad ones). And now I hear Shippuden finished its last 500th episode and they're immediately segueing in to a Borato series!?!? I feel like Aku! "I mean I thought I'd wait it out until I assumed he would just die! But he hasn't aged! It seems like he'll go on forever! I don't know if I can handle it!"

If they run out of Kai episodes, they'll just use Super as their new flagship show. ... I suppose they'll have room for One Piece as a second-tier heavy-hitter at the beginning of the blcok ,but they'd need to convince Turner that One Piece being brought back A THIRD time would get better ratings at an earlier timeslot, which could prove tricky.

Well it contains the word "Disney" in the pitch, which automatically means "we'll edit everything high heaven", so I honestly have no idea what the hell they were expecting.

Its home video cover art is one of the most creative ones for an anime I ever seen.

I'm still waiting on that Kingdom Hearts series!!

I have hope for that. However, it could be more years of my life waiting.

One Piece itself will of course continue. And Funimation still has some of the next episodes up on their site to watch directly online, as well as the releases.

I blame him and several other certain people who did nothing but make my experience watching this and participating on these threads a living hell.

"IF I HAD A HEART! YOHOHOHOHOHHO!" I saw it comin. I adore Brook's love of his new friends and his happiness and energy!! He even read up on his friend's previous adventures!

This looks to be a flashback to one specific tale of Brook's days with his crew.
