how can you be dependent and independent at the same time? i didn't realize a bachelor's degree made you independent, i thought that was when you pay for over 50% (at least for single people) of your living expenses though my tax-fu is a bit weak in that area because i've never really had that problem where i had to flip flop between them. also doesn't that also only work on for credit classes? i don't think FAFSA helps you with non-credit
