Nah I know title doesn't really matter. The only reason I mentioned it is because the way you were describing it sounds like the directors/VPs I used to have to talk to and how they spoke. I mean I guess at that point it really comes down to you. If we've cleared all of the obvious stuff and you trust them anyway

I mean my guess is from what it sounds like that you're either talking about director or a departmental VP level. But that guess is really from my own dealings with past companies. I'm not sure what kind of bank you're working at now, and this is kind of going to be snobby, but you might also want to think about how this other bank would look on your resume vs a bigger bank (which I assume you're working at now based on gut).

The other thing I'd be skeptical about is working for a fully online bank. What's their rep like? How long have they been around? Also because of all of this crap going on right now, are they having any financial problems?

Also it matters also if you'd actually you know, like the job. I had several interviews with a company that would have regularly flown me out to Virginia had I agreed to work for them. I would have needed some wacky government clearance and there would have been a lot of travel involved internationally as well. The pay and benefits would been very good but I ended up not taking it because I didn't think I'd be happy having to travel like 75% of the year.

Do you actually know this company? That sounds like a lot to hit you up with out of the blue. If you do, and it's legit, then I mean if they're paying for the house then COL really doesn't matter as much. I have grandparents around that area (as does literally everyone), I will tell you that driving around there is a nightmare because of all of the old people and its extremely humid. I'd probably take it if I didn't have family tying me down. But I'm also talking as a single guy, not as a married person.
