  1. Seems like you're jumping to conclusions about the data. I would actually have to fact check the "democrats lost demographics" claims that are going around in the media. It seems like the kind of thing everyone would get wrong only for FactCheck.org to write a little read post refuting it. Even exit polls that the news media use are not completely reliable. I only ever use them with that huge caveat.
  2. Don't be afraid to stand up to that same group of 74 million and tell them to fuck off. It's nonsense trying to make concessions to them. Instead, try talking to the millions of 2020 Democratic voters who didn't show up in 2024.
  3. I just noticed Trump got 74.2 million votes in 2024, and the same number in 2020. It's the same huge group of evil idiots. So don't overanalyze it.
  4. I regret to inform you a right-winger with over 50,000 followers said something comically dumb on social media: Wait, so if the Chairman of the Federal Reserve can’t be fired and isn’t elected, who is he accountable to?
  5. When we're dealing with Trumpers, it's *not* a matter of "Maybe if Harris emphasized unions more, she could have won Michigan". This is a deeper, older problem. It's "this radical, violent mob is going to crucify people if you don't stand up to them".
  6. Yes. It's because of my sincere shock and concern. If you try to appease Trumpers, you guys are going to get hurt. I've tried to avoid Trumpers for years because I know they are one day away from a rampage. (See January 6th, 2021.)
  7. I used the word "dangerous" for a reason. If you guys don't know your enemy, you're going to be destroyed by them.
  8. Interesting defending the honor of Trump supporters you guys are going here.
  9. In other words, people need to be honest with themselves that at least half of all people are just evil bastards. And you have to start with that. Anything less than that is dangerous false positivity belief.
  10. I know. I carefully chose the words of my last post with that in mind. I said, "this wasn't an overwhelming problem for most before 2015", implying it was an overwhelming problem for oppressed groups. The problem needs to be reduced, not growing. It needs to be inhibited to make progress at reducing it. And yes, African-Americans have been telling us.
  11. Telling the truth isn't a mindset, and I'm not worried about national elections while saying it.
  12. You do what you go to do to survive. But I would advise never being dependent on a Trumper. Don't ever give them the time of day. Treat them like how all the normal people in the Star Wars universe treated all the imperials.
  13. huh.... I may be gathering back a moral sense after being shook. I'll see how it works out from here.
  14. He's helping out you and your mother? It's a real bad idea to be dependent on a Trumper in anyway. You should figure some way out not to be. And then scorn him so you're not tainted by him. This is similar to the advice I gave @Insipid about their brother. No matter the consequences, you *don't* become like them half way in order to appease them or just get along.
  15. Yes, this means calling MD a douchebag. Among many other things.
  16. Trump won because at least half of people are horrible, disgusting people who cheer cruelty. This is the moral clarity we need to start with. I suspect this wasn't an overwhelming problem for most up till 2015 or so because we successfully had them contained and inhibited some way. The way back to a good state is finding a way to do that again.
  17. Notice how the line for millennials shoots upward around 2020-21. Government response to Covid and Biden's policies lead to a massive increase in the standard of living for that one generation. They are the right age that benefits from a major revamp of the labor market.
  18. I don't know. Sounds like dumb populism. No offense. But maybe you're right. It's not a hill I want to fight over.
  19. It's an interesting thing to observe. I don't believe he is violent and idiotic because of Trump. Rather his support of Trump is caused by him being those things. Which raises the disturbing question: are half of people just violent idiots? There was a time when I thought too well of people to think so, but not anymore.
  20. Well, I've concluded Trump voters are too far gone and can't be reasoned with. So I don't necessarily want to accomplish anything beyond telling the truth.
  21. @Insipid I may relate to you because I have an estranged younger brother who is a Trump supporter. He's a violent idiot that his wife and mom are afraid of. I despise him.
  22. Have you tried calling him a fool?
