what hugely successful movie have you never seen?
PhilosipherStoned replied to nameraka's topic in Free-For-All
The Avengers movies.. I think I tried to watch the older ones on cable now that I have direct tv, but they seem to take forever to unravel and I usually lose interest. -
Rain is the only ray of hope when it comes to not sweating out all your bodily fluids here in Texas so it's been welcome. I think there's some storms coming in next week thankfully. You can take my power out, and knock down my fence..As long as you blot out that mother****ing sun.

Accidentally ran over a frog driving home from work last night.
PhilosipherStoned replied to Greeny's topic in Free-For-All
Yeah they sound like firecrackers.. I live by a man made pond. The frogs like to wait until the last possible moment and jump in front of my wheels. -
my in depth review of beyond meat (application, chili)
PhilosipherStoned replied to nameraka's topic in Free-For-All
This is the first I've heard of Beyond Meat, but I agree with Sho... It looks good in pictures but I can't shake the feeling that I'd be at least a little dissapointed after biting into one of those burgers.. -
It's hell in the southwest..

Am I experiencing deja vu or is this thread title becoming regular for you? Also..

I could never work in an adult toy store
PhilosipherStoned replied to Phillies's topic in Free-For-All
I don't see how working at a place like that would cause you that much trouble getting another job unless you were trying to get into politics or become clergy or something. Maybe he lived in a really religous area.. I live in the bible belt so places like that are virtually non existant here anyway. -
I havent turned my Ps4 on recently, but I've never had a problem with updates.

Eh... I think the two rate about the same at least with my encounter. Some species of jellyfish/manowar are deadly enough to kill with just a bit of exposure though... I'm sure it's a unique experience being "stung" by a jellyfish in general. I've never lived in an area where that's really possible so I havent thought about it much.

wow.. I wonder how that feels.. Does it beat out the black widow... From what I'm seeing it might be about the same. Not much in the way of fatalities but "excrutiatingly painful".. Infact on a scientific level I've been wondering if the pain I experienced from a female black widow bite I took as like a pre teen didn't cause my unusual pain tolerance. That is a weird kind of pain though.. It's not like getting cut or breaking bones.. I remember having to control my heart rate and being worried I was experiencing anaphylactic shock because I was literally able to time the throbbing in my arm to my heart beat and I remember the pain being incapacitating but also..friggin hallucination inducing also.. it was like periodic but extreme if that makes sense.. It still messes with me, but I like to think about it. Probably because it's theraputic.. A black widow bite probably was the single most painful thing I've experienced so far, but it's hard to describe coherently how the pain of that even feels once it's in full swing. It's so painful you kind of go numb or the shock just blocks everything out idk...

Post a picture of a dog. Not your dog though. Just a dog.

My phone broke or I'd have a lot from posting random escapees to a facebook group for lost pets. The other day a pack with two beautiful great danes, a doberman pincher and a little sheep dog looking mix tried to roll up on me, and I snapped all their ugly mugs. I didn't back up those pictures though. -
Looks a lot like the baby I found, just switch the black tabby with orange and they'd look about the same.

I don’t find Adele’s music all that fucking good
PhilosipherStoned replied to Still Me's topic in Free-For-All
I definitely agree. I mean I'm open to change, but none of the songs I've heard seem like they can really stand the test of time. 💀 -
I was amazed by this little transformation. It was pretty well played too . Aside from some guest appearances he flat up dropped off the map to do this. all in all I thought it was a smooth transition into music for him.

I figured that might be hard to decipher TNG= Texas National Guard.

No prob just sharing the info. I just learned how the prior service programs work today honestly. I didn't know before.

I've never been there. and.. I'm not a big fan of Georgia.

How old are you I think you have to be older than me.. Anyway that works differently for veterans is probably the reason.. For example the reason I had to lose wieght to join the guard was beacuse proir service candidates are held to the same physical standards as actual soldiers in uniform. If you are a new recruit you can't get in over 35, but they adjust that cut off age based on the length of your prior service if you are a veteran and are generally a lot more leniant towards you in all the other areas besides PFT. If that makes sense. The cut off for a new recruit to be accepted at westpoint is 23, but that might not be the same for prior service veterans. There are a lot of programs offered by the various branches tailored specifically towards veterans though. I wouldn't be surprised if the staff at the MEPS here were just all off their rocker though... I had to get a secret clearance, and pretty much coraborate my entire life story to get in though so I hope not. 👌 @ghostrek

thks.. The National Guard isn't really that big of deal though honestly. I'm just curious about the West Point thing. I might actual try to see if it's a viable option just to visit New York state idk. I'm scoping out their site right now. 😐

wow.. not sure if I can top a shattered eye socket. I've almost completly severed a finger, and had almost a complete section of my lip cut through when it was busted one time, but I think fracturing my wrist catching myself after bailing from a really high wall wide out of a vert ramp skateboarding might've topped both of those two things on the pain index though honestly. edit. I think I've developed a pretty high pain tolerance over the years so it's hard to say...
