Yeah Tubi hit a SERIOUS jackpot with this deal.

Why not the YouTube approach? I mean the free argument is there & the potential for ad revenue & Premium Subscriber revenue is there as well. Especially since there's already an example with WWE.

I could definitely see them doing that. Pulling a WWE where they split all the content across multiple YouTube channels and people can just subscribe to them like any other YouTube channel. WWE has like WWE Vault, WCW Vault, ECW Vault, etc. [as] could have ATHF as its own channel, Boondocks as its own channel, Metalocalypse as its own channel, etc. Could be the best route...

So for those that missed it, Tubi just announced they're getting a massive influx of Cartoon Network & WB Original cartoons starting March 1st. There are a lot...AND I MEAN A LOT of CN Originals headed to the platform. That got me thinking, could [as]' streaming rights be up for grabs? Could we see Tubi or a different streaming service pick up the rights to shows like Space Ghost, Aqua Teen, Boondocks, etc.? LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN!

Real. Like essentially revive The Fix from back in the day but make it an all night thing. Throw the cord cutters a bone ffs.

Not only that, but the vod gets nuked after the fact. So those that miss it are SOL. The 5-7pm time slot is a VERY odd choice, and it needs to be rethought big time.

I ask again...Brody King on Metalocalypse when?

So anyone else notice what [as] has been doing on their YouTube channel lately? They've been having "live streams" every day now from 5pm-7pm EST and so far all they've been airing have been episodes of Metalocalypse, Mr. Pickles, Squidbillies, and Xavier Renegade Angel. I wonder if they plan on expanding the roster of shows and maybe the hours to potentially create a sort of [as] classics marathon live stream or something to that effect.

Which is a damn shame because I really enjoyed those TIEs.

Considering everything going on right now, I don't think Toonami's gonna do a TIE this year. With the WBD acquisition still up in the air and the uncertainty of CN's & [as]' futures, they probably don't have anything on the docket to make any major changes to the block until everything gets settled & they have some extra money to blow.

Then I guess we'll be the one to do the celebrating. My way was writing a piece for my university newspaper on a 24 year retrospective on [as].

September 1st, 2001. The day that would start a revolution in animation and by proxy, television as a whole. When a Space Ghost could host a talk show. When a group of scientists underwater could have workplace comedy before The Office (US) was even conceived. When an animated show that imagined what would happen if Dr. King wasn't dead would win a Peabody award. When a rag tag trio of fast food edibles would get their own theatrical release. When a programming block could highlight and uplift independent artists through their own record label. When the question "what if your network talked back to you?" could be answered. [adult swim] did all of that and then some, and for that we're forever thankful. Happy Belated Birthday [as], here's to 24 more years of telling kids to get the hell out of the pool.

I've seen plenty of rebrands in my time...but I think this is the first time I've seen a de-branding. Where they revert back to their original branding.

If only they brought back the streams...that would fill their "original content" quota. Yes I'm still salty about them killing the streams.
