    Yup agreed ! it's also has a more serious approach to story though the more cartoony visuals(albeit it's been toned down) and slapstick humor can still be found

    That's what I like about soul eater.their personalities and themes are woven into their character designs.it's more of a trend for the guys though

    Yeah it's pretty horrible her parents got the bad of the stick,though sakura was never originally planned to be in the series at all,kishimoto's editor forced him to add her in to the mix and there she came,the series was always a naruto and sasuke story first I'd say he picked the character designs blindly out of his 'character design 'box , random number generator style,and just went with what he picked out first lol

    Kishimoto was involved in the movie so he absolutely made their character designs.kishimoto also said that he could never find a good time to show them off in the main series In short,yes they're canon
