watching the new one. It takes me awhile because I want it to last. I'm glad they're telling a good long story this season. So I don't mind the pace at all. In fact I think I kinda like it because it's just completely different from anything else on tv. or anywhere else. And I also still like the Dougie thing, and I think part of that is that indeed each episode brings Cooper closer to remembering. I thought this episode was very full. I enjoy the mix of dreamlike physics, sharp reality, and facade. The whole thing has such a unique texture. I live for stuff like this. I really can't think of anything else atm that is it's own thing. Most things fit into one of a small set of story archetypes. And this does have some archetypical things in the mix. But Twin Peaks is just Twin Peaks in the end. There's just nothing else like it. I love it for that.

actually very much into the Joe/Lesnar feud. looking forward to Money In the Bank because I just have always liked that gimmick, even though odds are good that I'll be disappointed by the results. Though WWE seems to be a little less predictable lately. So we'll see. on NXT Asuka and Nikki Cross tore the fucking roof off the place, taking the fight out of the ring, backstage, through the dressing rooms, through the tech area, almost into the booth and back out again. Fight ends with both crashing through a table off the tech platform. At one point Cross dunked Asuka's head in a giant cooler full of ice water. It was crazy fun. Definitely the match of the week for me.

let's not get too far out ahead of ourselves. it'll take awhile I think to get it where it needs to be.

THAT'S NOT A THING

Just now getting close to the point with the IPB that I wanted to be a couple weeks ago. There's a theme up, but Jhin/Viper/DJ Sona wants to make the theme, so we're going to see where that goes. Basically I'm still not sold personally on IPB. But KN and Jhin like it a lot, so going to continue to explore it and see if we can get it to a place where I'm more comfortable with it/interested in it. So atm, myself, KN and soon hopefully Zintar (sent him the link) will be discussing the features and stuff. Jhin will be in there themeing and probably also adding to the aforementioned discussion and helping out however as we feel our way along through this dark corridor that is life. not sure when I'll have more. But when anything significant happens, will post and let you know.

we've been sort of trying out stuff like that on here. There's a secret folder that's changed names a few times, the idea of which was to have viewing parties/nights and/or showcase obscure stuff. The biggest issue so far has been finding a reliable upload source for the files. a lot of places do not discriminate in terms of ads/trackers/popups. Like Openload was smooth as hell, but I have ublock origin, so had no idea it was generating popups til somebody told me. Other sites limit the size of files or frequency with which one can upload files. It's weird to me that it's so hard to find something as simple as a place to upload stuff to that you can just embed and watch. But we did a thing with adult swim pilots. We did Space Giants. Wulin Warriors. the original KTMA MST3Ks. The first Doctor Who serial. A spring anime preview awhile back. some weird anime. an old radio show called "Johnny Dollar". Zintar posted some shorts too. I wanted to do movies every so often. But every time I settle on a place to upload/embed from, it turns out there's something wrong with it. Either it comes with popups, or there's a file size limit, or something that prevents it from being like a go-to source.

passed away Monday. I didn't even know that. He was 88. So he had a good run. Still, he seemed to be going strong. I mean, whenever he was in those "behind the scenes" things for FG, he always looked pretty vital for a dude in his 80s. man this sucks.

NOBODY KNOWS WHO THAT GUY WAS HE WAS A MYSTERY MAN

Tom Cruise is waaaay past due for a fall. He's just not a very good actor and now he's kind of aged past the point where hawtness alone can carry his box office for him. And he's just weird. His weirdness isn't on parade every day, but it's out there, and in the internet age, it's not like there's anybody that doesn't know he's a rich weirdo. so - the "one of us" mystique has sort of burned away for him. The cuteness is gone. And the guy's just never been able to act. I think Universal monster movie reboots in general aren't a terrible idea. I mean, they were created to be franchise players basically, each having several sequels. But also - a reboot isn't quite the same thing as entirely re-imagining the Mummy as a high-octane Tom Cruise action movie. I think the Fraser Mummy movies were great and fun little adventure stories, which fits better into that Universal monster niche than all caps ACTION does. I'd like to see somebody make a Mummy movie that brought home the moodiness of the old franchise. More genuine horror, that feeling that something's coming for you that you can't stop, because you did something you shouldn't have done. Instead of that feeling that SPLOSIONS ARE GOING OFF RIGHT IN YOUR FAISE PLANE CRASH BURRRRRCRSSSHHH!!

If the new board looks like it's going to take awhile to get going (and currently that looks to be the case) we might lift bans before then. Otherwise the original plan was just to let them back in when the new board went up.

Roode's promo on Roderick Strong was great. The confrontation between Ohno and Itami was amazing. Those close ups, you could see anguish in Ohno and hatred in Itami. Turning Hideo Itami heel is working really well I think. Disappointed they kind of fed No Way Jose to Killian Dane.
