  11. I don't know what their gender was, but I hope so. I also hope I never see them again, just to spare myself the embarrassment
  12. I saw somebody on the bus who had a cool sense of style. What do I do? Do I talk to them? No, I write two drafts of a note and come to the conclusion the note below was the better of the two: Hello! I like your style! I’m sorry if it’s weird to receive notes from a stranger on a bus quietly, but I feel the purple shoes and red pants need to be acknowledged in a positive way. I hope the rest of your evening is splendid. But eventually, because I realize I’ve elaborated on the weirdness of receiving a note from a stranger on public transportation, I say to myself “Fuck it, I’ll just tell this person how cool I think their style is when we get off the bus.” Problem is, I forget about the stop before the final destination, so they get up and prepare to leave. In a panic to tell them how I think of their clothes, I quickly mutter “Excuse me” and try to pass the note. They give the note a look. And I mean A LOOK And suddenly I lose any bravery I have to talk to a stranger. I stutter to explain, because they’re getting off the bus and moving away toward the exit. I hastily exclaim, “I LIKE YOUR PANTS. AND YOUR SHOES” They say thanks, but now all I can do is worry I’ve weirded a person out, and because I’m me, I think about the possibility they might see me either at my jobs or walking along downtown and be like “That’s the freak who tried to hand me a note on the bus!” and do what they can to avoid me. Long story short, I’m mortified that my attempt to be kind to a stranger was received as something quite opposite.
  13. April 1st, 0473 I know that sounds fake, but I'm queer so I'm immortal
  14. Fixed but agreed, I went for that as opposed to the enhanced ID because 10 years is a long time, and eventually I'll visit Japan, or Korea again, or Russia (if they let me in), or Europe.
  15. I can't believe you're anywhere near my age. You have to be older and weirder.
  16. This is my only artistic aim to achieve in my life
  17. My old passport was used as my only id for two years in new hampshire, so it was too warped to renew. I opted to pay the full amount for a completely new one. It was a slightly longer application, but it included the oath, which is that I answered my application questions truthfully, and that the photo was a true and authentic photo of me. Now authentic was the word that made laugh. I got all prim and proper for my passport photo and walked to the FedEx store. However, it was super windy, and I was in such a rush for an expedited passport that as long as it fit the parameters, I didn't care too much. I should have cared though. But I don't. That's what makes this photo so authentic. It signals that I'm a fucking mess and that I'd like that to be recognized internationally. Needless to say, I laughed as I tried to take the oath. Lucky me, I wasn't flagged for any suspicion the agent might have had.
  18. I'll probably still be in transit from retrieving my passport. If not, watch a movie with the spouse/play overwatch.
