I am utterly gutted. Saddy was a friend, a late-night companion, and one of my adopted kids. I may have been everyone's momma, but Saddy was a goddess. I just can't type more now. I've been crying since I heard the news.

I will happily send greetings to her.

And you know how I love The Young Ones!!!

I'm pretty much fine. Just old and creaky. I'm just really worried about Saddy.

I don't know what anyone's method of offering up to a higher power is, but Saddy is in the hospital right now. She's having a tough time. Please offer prayers, love, reiki, sacrifices, whatever to whoever's in charge for her recovery. I love that girl.

I have survived bronchitis, and I'm thirsty. I went to a Celtic Festival on Saturday and was completely dismayed that they did not have Guinness on tap. I desperately need a Guinness. Please?

Technically, I don't have vacation from my part-time job, but I'm retiring soon, so there's hope. I can't deal with the hot weather, though. It can literally kill me.

I'm all in for reclusiveness. Around here, kids still get together for stuff, at least to go hang at the pool. Sorry this is sucking. *mommahugs*

Alright, summer has arrived. Who is into what mayhem? Running around naked? Planting a garden? Chugging koolaid? Chasing the ice cream truck? I'm currently in vampire (no sunlight) mode because of the antibiotic I'm taking. No pool time for me for a couple of weeks. This sucks.

Wrassling alligators with my current HOA before they sign the whole mess over to the management firm from hell. But seriously, how is your day?

Karatepop is in Canada. She had two young ones, the last I heard from her, but that was years ago.

I just live about 10 miles from the factory. I can get more anytime we need it!

You know what I need. That's a Guinness. And I probably can't even spell it at this point of the night.

Some of the best things I've done is meet up with my ASMB folks. We had [as]stock in Colorado in 2005 and 2006 (I think). Me, McCorran, Markoff Cheney and Walkndude420 would hang out for most of a week. I'd meet Edie when she was in the neighborhood. And Saddy and Killerdevdasi and I met up at a diner.
