It's both at once, so it is, and isn't the oppostive at the same time. Also you are bring up examples I didn't mention, I merely found a land animal as the opposite of an ocean, and you are saying it isn't your kind of opposite. Uh I don't debate for that reason. Also the reason you don't like pretentious is the same logic as mine own, so kinda pick and choosey on what we like? That's why I said pretentious.

It is the opposite, and it not. It's kinda like Shroender's cat thing I guess. Your definition of these things come from what you personally define it. So it's a no win battle, another reason why I hate philosophy, it's a pretentious game of what must be.

Oh how in Philosophy people use specific terms to describe something, and get mad when people don't use those terms, even though it excludes a major portion of the population from discussion. No one is considered "smart enough" if they don't learn these specific terms or ideals.

Isn't there also a twinge of pretentiousness in this though? That if we study hard enough we will understand everything, I also forgot to mention I do believe in duality of life. Evil and Good, all that jazz and the grey in between in you will. But yeah, there are just some things we can honestly never comprehend, because more research won't be available until after we are dead. So some education is great, but I don't know if makes us complete understanding people.

But most start out in our schools, in our cities, and grow to be a different person.

No I think after seeing the rants of guy that shot up Virginia Tech I see someone that should have been heavily evaluated before he killed classmates. Or the santa barbara guys videos about girls not like him show me they were clearly not mentally right.

I have a very short intention span, people assume it means I'm stupid, just can't really focus on topics I'm not too interested in, my memory is worst on medication right now, hoping to get it switched soon. But I have heard a bit about fatalism and thats like, whats the point cause everything will eventually fail and die right? Elon Musk said something along those lines. lol

No one said all of them were dangerous, only some who have had their illness ignored, or who have violent thoughts. Its you who keeps pushing this narrative, in hoping you can how somehow discredit, there they are some people out there who could highly benefit being in an asylum instead buying gun and getting revenge. My grandmother was schizophrenic, she was so bad my father and his brother had to be put up with adoption. Because not everyone can handle their mental illness well enough.

When instead of screaming to democrats, maybe people can try changing them? Demanding more from them, believe it or not, I'm not proud of many things democrats have done, but at least they aren't in pure denial like the GOP. Tell that to their parents and friends. But I guess bi polar manic depression is the only mental illness that matters right?
