I will be honest, those implications did sour the finale for me a little. I never would have thought about it and thanks to this episode I am thinking about it and ugh. No thanks! I'll take the gang boss any day. However, I loved how Konatsu handled the subject. Best to keep it with her to her grave! Yotaro is a great dad to Shin as it is. I really wish we should have watched Konatsu perform and it really would have made the finale for me. However, I thought Shin's rakugo was hilarious! His child impression got a few chuckles out of me. And damn, Matsuda is still going strong! So happy about him being able to attend!

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid 11 Contrary to out-of-season Christmas episodes, I can always appreciate a solid New Year's episode anytime! Even if it's nearly 80° here, a kotatsu sounds pretty cozy right now.

Every character has been so cute so far. I even downloaded the game to play later. Gabriel Dropout 11 That first half was so good! But the second half was kind of a snooze fest (and I love Takoyaki)

Minami Kamakura 11 Interviews with Monster Girls 11

Ahh, this episode was so beautiful! I loved this depiction of the afterlife and it reminded me so much of Spirited Away! The scene of him on the boat with Matsuda was very beautiful and I'm glad he chose Shin to watch his performance after all, with a nod to Yotaro. I also have to say this was one of those rare instances where I actually liked Miyokichi, although Sukeroku showing off his scar in the bath did kind of have me cringing for a bit. I didn't necessarily hate her during the first season, and there were a lot of times where I just felt really bad for her, but if only things could have been different between her and Konatsu. I'm glad we got to see a little reconciliation, even if it's just in the afterlife. As for the preview, it's easy to guess who these young teenagers are, so I'm just as excited!

If you remember this in December and are able to stream it, I'm down to watch. Might end up liking some enough to check them out. About to start the new episode, but the character song CD just dropped and oh boy they are catchy tunes!

I personally just don't like Christmas themed episodes airing out of season unless it has a real impact on the series itself. GabDro's Christmas episode can easily qualify as pure filler (not that there's much to fill). While Seiren is a bad series and should feel bad, at least the setting for this arc is at Christmastime so it kinda fits. Still would have preferred this to air last season to be more enjoyable but whatever. Kobayashi is the exception because I'm sure it'll be a funny episode with spring around the corner.

Interviews with Monster Girls 10

I'm so sorry for the loss of your cat. He looks like he was a good boy! I'm glad you were able to spend more time in the last moments of his life and I'm sure he appreciated it. That actually happens to be one of my favorite episodes of Aria. The story it's based on has an anime movie as well called Night on the Galactic Railroad, however the tone is very different from the episode.

Yeah, it often gets overlooked because of the series' popularity. The editor was arrested earlier this year actually.

Will definitely be watching BnHA 2, Kekkai Sensen S2, Uchouten Kazoku S2 and Shingeki no Bahamut S2 for sure! Everything else will be a blind watch depending on how much time I have, but some of the stuff looks good from the art alone. Hard pass on AoT 2. Other than my losing interest in the series altogether, the controversy surrounding the author's political beliefs on top of the editor allegedly murdering his wife makes me want to stay away from it.

I was thinking about watching Urara for a while and I might just do that if Gabriel and Demi-chan don't pull their weight. As for 3-gatsu, I agree about the lack of sister time. I'm a couple of episodes behind actually and intend to catch up this weekend, so I hope they'll get more screentime very soon. (1st cour had a better OP and ED anyway)
