I kept googling "Season 2" when I was looking for reviews of the new episodes and it was confusing the hell out of me. Looks like Season 1 was not released or completed in one go, and Season 2 has already been greenlit.

I've seen a couple newer episodes from what I'm guessing is still season 1?? and again I'm just blown away by Genndy's work.

I'm open minded when it comes to animation but I cant get into it -
https://deadline.com/2020/11/cowboy-bebop-six-cast-netflix-live-action-remake-cult-anime-tv-series-1234618338/ Mao as a female kind of threw me off but she definitely has the right look. Gren is spot on imo. Tamara Tunie as Ana can probably work. The rest appear to be relatively smaller roles that I don't remember being big parts of the original series, but look interesting none the less. I'm cautiously optimistic, but would not be shocked if I ultimately end up hating the LA adaptation of one of my favorite all time animes.
