  1. I really really hope they never try to make Moana into live-action, though I fear it's inevitable at some point. Kind of just hoping I don't live long enough to see that day. Just had a terrible thought... ::checks:: NOOOO! They're already working on it?! And it's coming out just next year! Damn you Disney! Why?!
  2. Trump pardons former sheriff convicted of bribery Guy was supposed to report to prison today to start serving a ten year sentence, and instead gets away scott free. Apparently crooked folks all over the country are falling all over themselves to try to get the swamp king's ear so they can try and buy a pardon, going so far as to even hire lobbyists now to help them do it. Sadly, this just goes to show that not only does crime in fact pay, but that paying can make said crime just magically go away.
  3. Thunderbolts* 8/10 Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning 8/10 If it's indeed the last MI movie for Tom Cruise, it was a pretty good way to close the franchise out. I liked the first part a little more though. This one felt a little unnecessarily drawn out time-wise and a bit too much with the (maybe not quite impossible but at least) highly improbable things they needed to pull off and have go their way this time.
  4. https://www.gltjp.com/en/directory/item/onaruto-bridge/ I was wondering, and yep, funnily enough, there is an actual Onaruto bridge in Japan that stretches over the Naruto channel fittingly known for whirlpools (uzumaki).
  5. "Your words cut deep. Deeper than any blade." Yeah, this episode always gets me. If it's the last of Naruto on the block, it's not a bad episode to end on.
  6. They think he's supposed to be 26 feet tall and because he's ONLY 14 feet or so now they don't think it's actually him? Seriously? I guess there are giants in the One Piece world though, so I guess it's not completely insane. And of course he's still not finished.
  7. I mean if she were still alive you'd think he'd still be visiting her and not hanging around with a harem of scantily-clad women fawning all over him all the time.
  8. You mean Senor Pink? Don't think they ever said what happened to her, but flashback was from years ago so kind of assumed she eventually passed away.
  9. LMAO Old lady found her second wind... and then some. All it took was a little inspirational speech from good ol' King Riku.
  10. Sea prism stone is immune to the bird cage strings, at least the cutting power of it. Is Franky thinking of using it somehow to slow it down?
  11. Sent him through at least a half a dozen buildings there. Dang. And yet somehow he's gonna be able to keep on fighting even after that. LOL
  12. It's a shame no one wants watermelon, he says while reaching out for it. Kuro you adorable little glutton.
  13. I feel like I've forgotten who most of the characters in this are honestly. It's been so long since Bleach was on. How many years has it been anyway?
  14. Badass! Gave that guy a well-deserved whooping.
  15. 'They're Not Just Cutting Medicaid': GOP Bill Would Trigger Over $500 Billion in Medicare Cuts This bill is such a disaster in the making. It keeps looking worse and worse every day people have to look at it. No wonder they're holding votes in the dead of night on it and now trying to rush this thing through to the finish line as fast as they possibly can. "Big Beautiful Bill" my ass. More like Big Bucha Bullshit.
  16. Yeah, I know. I read about that. It's scary they're even considering further enabling the all the lawlessness they've been engaging in with something like that. I'm still cautiously optimistic that's not gonna fly in the Senate and be stripped out before the final bill though. If it did end up getting passed somehow, then it'd pretty much Defcon 1 time for the Constitution. So, yeah...
  17. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/may/21/trump-deportations-south-sudan More violating judge's orders, this time sending people to war-torn South Sudan of all places. The most ridiculous part with this though sounds like the government is contending they didn't violate the judge's order because these people are still in US custody they say, even though they're not in the country anymore. Pretty much the exact opposite of what they claim about the ones they sent to El Salvador. They're just trying to test every which way they can what it is they can get away with, and they're not gonna stop till they make a complete and total mockery of the judicial branch. Still waiting for the next shoe to drop, when a judge inevitably holds them in contempt.
  18. Thing is you never know. Could be everyone does ask to be born into the world and maybe just doesn't remember doing so because a consequence of being born is having all prior memories wiped out. Kind reminds me of the movie Soul that I just watched a little while ago. This guy clearly never found his "spark".
  19. Yeah, the time skip happened right before where Toonami picked up with the Fishman Island arc, so if you're just following the Toonami airings then you would have missed the stuff that lead up to and covered that.
