unrelated to Star vs. but Disney has apparently confirmed (after having denied it for over 20 years) that Gaston's yes man Lefou
was Gay and had a crush on him
and that the live action remake is going to make it more obvious.....as if they have to
6 Gay couples appeared in the season finale of Star Vs. (with 5 of them kissing on the lips)
and they just confirmed that Le Fou
(the fat little Gaston fanboy in beauty and the beast) is Gay after having denied that he was for over 20 years (they say it's made explicitly clear he is Gay in the live action remake)
this is reassuring
**cautious optimism begins coming to a boil**
evidently, the Sticky maple thing was a reference to a page on Urban dictionary describing a(probably fictional) sex act, cw's censors obviously didn't know that which is how it got in
and ep 4 is worse....
one of the villains in Naruto's filler was a magical talking wig that ate people....and I eagerly await Naruto's filler arcs to see just how INSANE they will be
I agree but for different reasons
namely that while One Piece's adaption is good,
Naruto's source material was awful. and a lot of the anime's filler is better than it's Canon....so it's adaption ends up being better than it's manga due to the stuff the anime writers made up being more entertaining than the canonical chapters
seems that's the case, I now have a bunch more Gay dramas in my suggesions.....I'm ignoring some of them either cause they're angsty (or in one case the plot says it revolves around a "gay" man having a Drunken one night stand with his straight Friend's wife and getting her pregnant, it's from last year and it's called "people you may know")
I've been at a loss for what to watch on netflix as of late cause none of the stuff was catching my eye but someone on tumblr (who's even pickier about LGBT representation than I am) reccomended it so I watched it and I'm glad I did (another movie they suggested was called 4th Man out)
the Korra thing was also super half assed because they more or less literally did not imply they loved eachother until the final episode and they didn't even get to kiss, they just hugged (they're apparently relesing a follow-up comic, maybe they'll actually do some form of PDA there)
never said they needed to brag
they just needed to not deny gay people existed, and now they've acknowlaged gay people exist in Stvoe, so, lack of speaking roles aside Disney isn't trapped in the 50's anymore
