"we're Lesbians" with how many of these outtakes are clearly deliberate it's a wonder anime gets dubbed at all also, here's some of my favorite anime dub blooper reels (as an aside having never seen this show...if they did not use the take where she's actually laughing while delivering the line "I haven't laughed this much in ages", they made a horrible mistake, because that was some epic Enforced method acting)

my point is just if they're really getting rejected so badly, the logical conclusion would just be to make a pitch to a company they know would be receptive.....yet none of them seem to be interested in doing that which says to me they're just feigning refusals for tumblr cred and haven't actually tried to add any gay storylines to the shows they've been working on

admittedly I can see why people love Gundam I've just personally never been a fan, but I WANTED to like IBO at first when I heard that it had a gay character who lives all the way to the end however I retracted that reason for wanting to like it after I saw that a ton of other seemingly gay characters all die in very quick succession, which negates the fact that one of them survives
