    I mean SAO isn't "actively" antigay....but like every other thing Reki uses as a source of Drama he does LGBT characters (or LGBT coded characters) really really badly and he does no research into if the way he writes it will come across as bigoted...so it's inadvertantly homophobic due to him just not really caring to learn how to be a better writer

    there probably isn't Daring in the Frankxx just soured my opinion of Trigger and also in my experience Giant Robot animes in general have a WEIRD relationship with LGBT storylines, they aren't always outwardly phobic but generally speaking the few that do include queer male characters make absolutely sure it ends horribly for the characters in question

    I mean no....but he's the only male character who's ever said he loves another guy in this series and the GGO game on PS4 has a gay romanceable character...but if you romance him he tries to murder you and the only way to get the good ending is to fuck every girl and avoid fucking him

    She Ra is much better than this show because gay people don't automatically die, they exist, and the show actally writes villain-to-hero redemption arcs well
