I actually don't like the gamegrumps as much as I used to....not entirely because of Dream Daddy but partly also because they seem increasingly like sell outs like how they used to claim all sonic games were wretched (even if they liked them) then bent over backwards to praise Sonic Mania because sega paid them to give it a positive review, I can guarentee if Sega had not cut them a check they'd have said it sucked like they ALWAYS do when they play any other Sonic game I had liked Oneyplays more for a while.....but both of his original co-hosts Jontron'd themselves (by which I mean they quit to focus on their own projects not the....other thing that Jontron did)

you always play a man in Dream Daddy, you can choose what gender your ex was thus making your PC gay or Bi by implication however the game (IMO) is actually a very thinly veiled daddy-kink joke it says you can date all seven single dads, but you can't, you can date 5, one of the dads flat out uses you and dumps you for his wife after sleeping with you, and then another one tells you even though he likes you you're too good for him and refuses to date you anymore also there's other things about the game that bugged me but if I go too far into detail It'd get monotonous

it's like that stupid game Dream Daddy, they marketed it as a Gay dating sim then backpedalled and said none of the dads were Gay because "real world sexuality labels don't exist in the world the game is set in" when the realized the majority of the people who bought the game were straight women and not gay men

yes and no they confirmed he was once engaged to be married to another man named Adam....they say however that the show never uses the word "Gay" to describe his and Adam's relationship so as to not "invalidate headcanons of him being bi or pan" basically it's canon that he likes the dick, but not canon that he ONLY likes the dick

@Jman funnily enough as you predicted I might be the only fan of VLD who's sort of happy about Shiro being gay the other fans are still pissed off and accusing the show of queerbaiting, which begs the question of why they don't just do what I do with shows I have reason to assume are baiting....which is stop watching them

to be fair even though the show for some absurd reason claimed otherwise at the time he was actually under mind control when he was Majin Vegeta Babidi's powers work by flipping a person's moral compass to the opposite of what it currently is, basically it turns good people evil so for them to act like Vegeta was fully conscious of what he was doing and chose to do it and that there was absolutely no outside force making him do it was absurd at the time and Super seems to understand that....at the unfortunate cost of prioritizing Vegeta's status as a father over his status as a warrior, meaning he's a very good father...but HAS actually lost his honor and become weak like an earthling in Super

their current claims are that they planned for him to be gay but decided to make him straight when they assumed he was going to die....then reverted to their original plan to make him gay when Toei told them they could let Shiro Live in their adaption I refuse to believe that and I believe them making him gay was a last minuet choice at reviving interest in the show by giving the fans begging for LGBT representation what they've been asking for since episode one

also apparently VLD is taking a page out of Dragonball Super and making the fan fave deuteroprotagonist into a binky sucking comic relief character

tbh I never liked Voltron as a kid and I only gave this one a chance because it was made by (some of) the same team as ATLA and Legend of Korra it failed to deliver on any of the things I was looking for (and while they're promising on delivering on one of the things I wanted as of the coming season I still don't believe they won't massively screw it up somehow)

maybe that's why they decided to make shiro gay in season 7, because they realized the show has no actual appeal to anyone outside of the shippers

it looks Silver to me ^ that's Blonde I previously compared Asta's design to Shino and Atoli's Designs from .hack//G.U in that they're literally the same character design but one is blonde and wears bright sunshiny colors and the other is silver haired and a goth

but I just noticed Laxus Dreyar and Takashi Shirogane are very similar looking color palates aside, both have the same hairstyle, head shape, eyebrows, both have winged eyeliner, and both have facial scars

on that note I wonder what the explaination/rationalization is for Vegeta suddenly being sweet and benevolent (at least compared to how he used to be anyway)

there's honestly times I wonder if this series is actually a covert parody of Shonen Manga clichee's that didn't go quite far enough to make it obvious that it was meant as a lampoon of shonen Manga like they meant this series as a joke at the expense of series like Fairy Tail and Naruto, but didn't go hard parody enough
