a looot of People started dropping it around ep 16 for various reasons they started haphazardly retconning plot points they'd previously been setting up in that episode like they were implying the Klaxxosaurs were mutated humans, then nope, totally unrelated species, they implied Mitsuru couldn't pilot with Ikuno cause he was gay and in love with Hiro, then NOPE turns out he just wanted to fuck Kokoro this whole time they introduce the nines and imply they might be gay, then nope they're Klaxxosaurs and therefor cannot be gay due to having different reprodictive needs than humans and the show specifically says it's inhuman to be gay and being gay inherently makes you an irredeemable bastard ect. that was the point the series just....fucked itself in every direction and only got worse from that point on

having seen both of these shows Mob Psycho is far better it's not Homophobic and it didn't require a mass re-draw by another artist because it was already drawn significantly less horribly than OPM was, it's also genuinely funny unlike OPM which is only "family guy" funny edit: mind you it's still not the greatest art ever but you can tell ONE actually tried when he drew it unlike OPM where he was clearly trying to make it as wretched looking as possible

yeah, that wasn't his choice his hand was forced by his publishers, his original plan was for them to try and revive Goku but it was too late so Gohan had to avenge his father also Vegeta was supposed to die in his first appearance but his publishers kept meddling with his story to make it more marketable

they could...but there were failsafes that didn't make it easy for example the body needed to be perfectly preserved it needed to be done within one year or it was impossible it could only be done once per person but since his publishers demanded he bring Goku back. all those rules were thrown out, so the balls could bring anyone back and there was no time limit nor limit to how many revives you could use
