  1. Like a can't walk for a week kind of wrecking?
  2. Yep Sci-Fi was the first channel in the US to acquire and fully air Gurren Lagann, right as it was just being released in the US in general Toonami got the sloppy seconds
  3. Gah that's right it was Tuesday not Wednesday, it's been so long that my memory had deceived me. Though I knew for SURE it was Ani-Thursday when it was suddenly canceled in 2011
  4. But how many hours of Tokyo Ghoul would you take over it?
  5. One question is do we even deserve One Piece again after replacing it with Tokyo Ghoul of all things
  6. Oh yes in fact people sometimes will have to be willing to pay about $170 to own only a 12 episode series from Aniplex (and that's not even including shipping) It certainly makes the about $120 (which is about how much I paid for my copy) imported 74 episode Monster complete DVD collection from Australia seem at least a little more reasonable
  7. Ah yes back when the Ani-Monday (Which then became Ani-Wednesday, which then became Ani-Thursday in it's final incarnation) revival was still going pretty strong. I believe Mobile Suit Gundam 00 was airing on Sci-Fi around the same time as Monster
  8. We not only imported it (Which can already be a bit more expensive by itself), but also searched out new DVD equipment, and/or computer software just to watch it
  9. All I can say if that the change was so sudden that my DVR didn't get the memo My DVR still thought Family Guy was our 11pm show
  10. I know the Greed Island arc isn't by any means the best Hunter arc, but it's still sad to see such a lack of rentention after Ghoul
  11. Plus they released Erased (Which is only 12 episodes by the way) in two parts and then charged $89 dollars for each blu ray set. It would have been easy for them to just release all 12 episodes in one complete set, so it would not have cost over $160 for just a 12 episode series. I mean throw us a bone here Aniplex
  12. There is so much up in the air with this deal that's it's hard to say what the future will exactly hold for Funimation yet. However nothing says that the ship that is Funimation is sinking
  13. Plus honestly if every Funimation title started being released with Aniplex prices then DVD/blu ray sales would honestly go down overall
  14. The plot is now crystal clear
