Probably. There's a reason why Trump was the nominee again. Most of the other options are sniveling in ways that make them lack the type of personality Republicans flock to. They can't control a cult or have them so emotionally invested that they just sit staring while several bullets fly in their direction and then cheer when someone might have been bleeding to death(or already dead) at their feet. Clinging to Trump and being propped up by annoying billionaires are why they haven't fallen apart yet. McConnell is too old to rein in his party properly if the worst happens to them, and Trump convinced his followers that McConnell's a traitor anyway.

I am so glad that I was never a huge fan of Gaiman because some folks in Fantasy(reading/writing) are devastated. Yeah the site that posted the news is questionable, but it's easy not to rely on it once you consider the similarities and start searching on your own from there. Found references to whisper networks and Gaiman on social media going back to at least 2018. I see why it ran mostly under the radar. A lot of the folks talking about him being a sex pest were in publishing, working bookstores, or interns working in organizations he dealt with. I do think there was some inoculation for the people being nosy(me) during the Covid lockdown incident when he abandoned his baby for a period of time. If he could do all of that, he could do worse shit. This is definitely giving credence to the warning that famous folks heavily active on multiple social media sites are walking red flags. Can't remember where I heard that but I've seen it proven true multiple times since then.

This right here is why I had fun wearing those shoes back in the day. I could take them off whenever and I didn't have to wear them for work. From what I remember, I could wear them for 3-4 hours without too much discomfort when my feet were less jacked up.

They can be fun, especially if you're short. Going from 5'3" to 5'8" made me feel like a god. I can't wear them anymore though because I jacked up my right foot in a way that I feel really bad pain when I step in them. I may try to see if I can wear stiletto boots again(those things are fun as hell to spin in).

My furball probably thinks that I've abandoned him! I had to put him at the kennel because I didn't have anyone to watch him. It's also an animal hospital(he needs the extra care because he's 17), but they have normal hours and he'll be alone at night. This is probably the last time I can see my grandma while she can still remember me or before she passes, so I don't have any good choices. One thing working in my favor is that my very impatient brother is driving us(me and my mom). He hit a place for two days and then he want to go home.

I see why I haven't rewatched Soul Food for several years. Having an older relative pass suddenly like that really changes the dynamic of your family.
