  9. Your weekly reminder that JoJo is much better when you've had a few. So get your drank on, and support Clack History Month like a proper English classic rock-loving gentleman!!!
  10. Want to relive some of the great moments of the Thriller Bark Arc? This week is your chance! Covered from Monday-Wednesday are the episodes from 9/17/16, 9/24/16, 10/1/16, 10/8/16, and 10/15/16, which means we'll pick up Wednesday night with the episodes from 10/22/16, 11/5/16, 11/12/16, 11/19/16, and 11/26/16. So get your Thriller Bark on this week for a little Halloween in February!
  11. Well, I daresay this kicks a little ass!! Dragon Ball Super scores a rounded 0.6 at 11:30! http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/daily-ratings/saturday-cable-ratings-feb-4-2017/ Super officially joins the "featured on TVBTN" club along with One-Punch Man, DBZ Kai, Akame ga KILL!, Michiko & Hatchin, Sword Art Online II, Kill la Kill, Attack on Titan, and Bleach! Now we know the following: 6:00 PM CN - Happy Feet Two 1,302,000 8:00 PM Dragon Ball Super 906,000 (69.59%) 11:00 PM Family Guy 1,436,000 11:30 PM Dragon Ball Super 1,282,000 (89.28%) 12:00 AM DBZ Kai: The Final Chapters 1,130,000 (88.14%) 12:30 AM JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 790,000 (69.91%) 1:00 AM Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn 775,000 (98.10%) 1:30 AM Hunter × Hunter 733,000 (94.58%) 2:00 AM Naruto: Shippuden 695,000 (94.82%) 2:30 AM One Piece 597,000 (85.90%) 3:00 AM Ghost In The Shell 501,000 (83.92%) TOTAL VIEWERS AVERAGE - 812,875 Unfortunately, this week the entire 2 AM hour missed the Top 100, as did Ghost In The Shell at 3 AM in Sunday's Top 100. But I was still able to provide the last 3 slots with the update to ShowBuzzDaily: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-2-4-2017.html. This is now the 2nd lowest lineup of 2017 so far in terms of total viewers; however due to the fact that the 3rd week REALLY tanked (683K), it was still above average for 2017 so far! CURRENT TOONAMI SHOW AVERAGES - Total Viewers Dragon Ball Super (11:30 PM) - 1,217,200 (5 episodes) Dragon Ball Z Kai: Final Chapters - 1,085,400 (5 episodes) Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - 949,800 (15 episodes) Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn - 757,200 (5 episodes) Hunter × Hunter - 874,432 (37 episodes) Naruto: Shippuden - 880,094 (144 episodes) One Piece - 794,506 (172 episodes) Ghost In The Shell HD - 501,000 (1 episode)
  12. I disagree, but it's also true that Dragon Ball Super episodes from 2015 that, even though dub premieres, are rehashes of a movie that came out in theaters 3 years ago just aren't enough to cut it with both a premiere that airs at a weird time and its rerun kicking off Toonami. But here comes Samurai Jack in March, premiering at 11:00 PM. Unless they stealth-premiere those new episodes at 8:30 PM rather than having those be encores if they leave Jack in its current rerun slot, I daresay we can get the 1.5-2M range back for the 11 PM hour. Double that chance if Attack on Titan Season 2 replaces JoJo Season 1 but airs at 11:30 instead of 12:30, bumping the Dragon Ball hour to the midnight hour and at least temporarily creating a "Jack/Attack" hour that could rule Toonami better than the Resurrection of F excerpt-fueled episode of DBZ Kai and Akame ga KILL! series premiere combo did back in late summer 2015. Also, keep in mind by then Super WILL be on Resurrection of F material, and you get the picture that light might be brighter than you can see right now! Alternatively, I suppose Samurai Jack could be "split cour" of 5-episode mini-seasons and be replaced by Attack on Titan Season 2 on April 15th, but that turnaround might be short even for a FUNimation Broadcast dub (yes, I'm still calling them that despite the new "Simul-dub" misnomer). Point is, Super may have been fool's gold, at least so far, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, and he's trying to get back to the past wielding a magical samurai sword!!
  13. Well, unfortunately, not much of a bump: 2/4/2017 Dragon Ball Super (8 PM) - #17 Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.39 Estimated 18-34 - 265,000 ( 29.22% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.32 Estimated 18-49 - 410,000 ( 45.20% ) Total Viewers - 907,000 2/4/2017 DBZ Kai: Final Chapters - #2 Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.65 Estimated 18-34 - 442,000 ( 39.12% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.52 Estimated 18-49 - 667,000 ( 59.03% ) Total Viewers - 1,130,000 2/4/2017 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - #9 Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.51 Estimated 18-34 - 347,000 ( 43.92% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.38 Estimated 18-49 - 487,000 ( 61.65% ) Total Viewers - 790,000 2/4/2017 Gundam Unicorn - #10 Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.49 Estimated 18-34 - 333,000 ( 42.97% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.36 Estimated 18-49 - 462,000 ( 59.61% ) Total Viewers - 775,000 Also interesting is the fact that Happy Feet Two actually made the list at #11 in 18-49 and Super at 8 PM LOST 6 spots and 0.04 in 18-49 from it! That should NOT be the case! Well, more to come, I guess.
  14. Yes indeed!! Especially the part where I called it La+ box!
  15. Alright, Sasuke, just settle in and listen to storytime with good ol' uncle Madara... A happy little story about warring ninja clans...
  16. Killua's threats are so menacing they just might melt your face off!!
  17. A friend called me, so I just wasn't able to talk about Gundam Unicorn, but here's your catch-up post! Meet the Unicorn! Scenes like this proved this series is light-years ahead of IBO. 5 episodes in, this has just been solidified!
  18. JoJo's up to bat now with that Latin - flavored full OP!! Yes, Baseball was the theme of the Midnight hour on 1/7/17!
  19. Forgot how awesome this recap of Dragon Ball Z Kai was that started off The Final Chapters! Dat full opening! Unfortunately from here on out for the rest of the month it was all superhero high-school rom com that tanked the ratings! But Kyle Hebert is GOLD as teen Gohan! Baseball blues, Saiyan Style!!
  20. The "Toonami Bowl" begins now with the first episode of Dragon Ball Super! Could you really blow up half a planet without causing deadly harm to the other half?? This exchange was hilarious! DON'T piss off Buu! Mean ol' snake! Videl was happy because she knew he fought hard for this ordinary water!!
  21. Over at 1:24--guess we get another weird-ass video? Guess not??
  22. Hate to burst your bubble, butt bubbles is indeed the theme for tonight!!
  23. True, except for the Tobi confrontation back on I believe November 12th, as well as its December 17th conclusion, it's been awhile!
  24. This filler at least has ties back to the canon story too?
  25. I must admit I already find this more intriguing than whatever the hell was going on in January! Not even Killer Bee could save the canon story!
