  1. Wow, that was...a bit stronger than the original! In the original, Vegeta's "conviction" was simply not as strong as the others'!
  2. Wow, the animation on this swashbuckling part is CRISP!!!
  3. Too much going on tonight. Cage the Elephant on Bonnaroo's Red Bull TV stream, and Kai on my tv!
  4. Beat the shit outta Satan!! No, not THAT Satan, Dabura!!
  5. Bumping this because SOMEONE had to do it, I guess! WHY is this show still at 11 again?? [whatever]
  6. You're talking IBO Season 2, right? Has this been confirmed?
  7. If you thought last week's screw-up was bad, this week is even worse. They apparently forgot to update the stream last Friday night, which means we're treated to LAST week's Pre-Flight and Naruto Shippuden filler episodes all day long today. Oh joy!
  8. Yes, ironically the participants in this battle are based on UFC fighters, since the UFC has been kicking Toonami's ass as of late and drove Attack on Titan to its lowest premiere ratings yet last week! But maybe tonight will turn things around, with no competition from the UFC, NHL, or NBA!
  9. Yeah, hope y'all enjoy the orchestral stuff and it gets you in the mood for the finale tonight! Hey, check this out today: http://www.adultswim.com/#l025iDXfuPq7 Notice the ticker. It says "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UNICORN RE:0096 -- SEASON FINALE SATURDAY AT 2:00A ET" I guess that might indicate that they still plan on running more Gundam shows?
  10. Well, looks like you beat me to the punch, but since this IS the last one, I'll just post what I was going to post in a reply... EPISODE #22: "Return" OP: "Into The Sky" by Tielle ED: "StarRingChild" by Aimer Get ready to light it up one last time! Full Frontal has completely become the ghost he always was now, but what happens now? Don't miss the thrilling conclusion tomorrow night (6/10/17) at 2 AM! Only Toonami! Unfortunately, it seems OVAs 4 & 5 ending themes "B-Bird" by Earthmind and "Broken Mirror" by Boom Boom Satellites can't be found either, so I guess I'm just gonna have to go with these epic orchestral performances: That one is obviously mostly from the 5th OVA, but... The "Banshee" movement, also sort of from OVA #5, but somewhat from #7 as well. And one last good one! ENJOY!! Until Tomorrow night...LATER!
  11. HOLY :poop:!!! Guess who turned out to be the Colossal and Armored Titans?? They attempted to ambush Eren, and a vicious battle ensued in last episode's cliffhanger ending!! The battle rages on tomorrow night (6/10/17) at 12:30 AM!! ONLY TOONAMI!!
  12. I don't get why they won't do it. It's an older show, but it's NOT a rerun and it's NOT like they couldn't yank it whenever FLCL is ready to premiere, and then when it's over, CONTINUE IT! There's NOTHING that says they HAVE to air all of the episodes of Lupin in a row! Just ask Hellsing Ultimate, InuYasha: The Final Act, Dragonball Z Kai, Gurren Lagann, or practically any long-running shonen that took multiple weeks off for a Month of Movies or a pair of marathons in a row! Hell, Toonami could also package it as a "mid-season finale" when the last episode of Lupin would premiere before FLCL replaces it. Then again, would Lupin even get topicals? It would probably be expected if it were at 11, but not at 1 AM or later, including its planned timeslot of 2 AM. That's WAY too late for topicals!
  13. And the stream advanced, so enjoy spending the end of your week with Naruto, the 6-tails, and other useless filler characters!! [or do something else]
  14. This afternoon just might be your last chance to see the Taka vs. Killer B on the stream, which given that after this we'll be stuck in filler hell might be the only decent thing streaming this week!
  15. Call me crazy, but I think things will get better next week. There won't be any major sporting events, it would seem, no UFC, no NHL, and no NBA. There will be Belmont Stakes but that probably won't affect Toonami since it airs at like 6:30 PM ET. Might hurt Dragon Ball Super at 8 PM though. Maybe, just maybe, Gundam Unicorn will get a half-decent sendoff after all. But rumblings are about on Twitter that they might already be re-thinking the schedule for June 17th. If so, just hope it's in time for our DVRs to catch the upheaval!
  16. Wait, what? Sorry to burst your bubble, but it really only gained on Ghost in the Shell, which is a rerun anyway. It doesn't happen every week, and in fact at one time Gundam Unicorn was sadly the lowest-rated show of the night, but this time both 2 AM shows beat the 3:30-6 AM time frame by between 11K and 52K in adults 18-49. However, GITS wasn't even the lowest rated show of the entire night as Cleveland Show (which might have been a more idiotic choice for post-DBS and post-Toonami than Bob's Burgers) only managed a 257K at 3:30 AM. In terms of overall viewers, however, the 5 AM KOTH hour beat everything after Hunter x Hunter. Maybe that's what you were talking about?
  17. They probably won't do it, don't get me wrong, but how would y'all feel about Lupin the 3rd premiering at 11 PM, Shippuden moving back up to 2, and Samurai Jack down to 2:30 on June 17th?
  18. Yeah, on 12/17/2016, I do believe! Say what you want about One Piece, but the ratings didn't start going to hell until they got rid of it!
  19. It's NOT the end! Though the time to make a deal for something better at 11 PM is NOW!! (Or at least, you know, to rearrange the schedule so as to put premieres first. June 17th is the perfect opportunity!)
  20. There's not 1.5 million Nielsen boxes in existence; probably only about 10,000. 21. The only thing I'm even mildly excited about is cross-promotional opportunities with Toonami. Do you think they would produce topicals to air on Toonami, and have Toonami schedule promos running during Cowboy Bebop Live Action? Of course that goes out the window if this ends up being a Netflix show like Death Note Live Action!
  22. Yeah, that's right! And just like Dio, they CAN BE DEADLY, but only if they got them from China. [:poop:]
  23. Reposting, because IT GOT BURIED!!! http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-6-3-2017.html 12:00 AM DBZ Kai: The Final Chapters 853,000 12:30 AM Attack on Titan Season 2 656,000 (76.91%) 1:00 AM Tokyo Ghoul 553,000 (84.30%) 1:30 AM Hunter × Hunter 474,000 (85.71%) 2:00 AM Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn 430,000 (90.72%) 2:30 AM Naruto: Shippuden 438,000 (101.86%) 3:00 AM Ghost In The Shell HD 380,000 (86.76%) TOTAL VIEWERS AVERAGE FOR 12-3:30 - 540,571 Bad when compared to how Toonami has done in the past, but what of the rest of TV? DBZ Kai, AOT, TG, and Gundam all won their timeslots among cable originals!
  24. The thing is, those people had the same attitude in 2015 and those lineups absolutely KILLED IT in the ratings! It's kinda embarrassing that the very same scenes which aired in 2015 during a random episode of DBZ Kai that got over 2 million viewers are coming up on Dragon Ball Super later this summer and GOOD LUCK getting even a million at 11:30 with the Samurai stuck at 11 PM! If I were DeMarco I would be SCRAMBLING to make a deal for a new AOT-style simuldub to replace Jack at 11 PM, but I doubt we're talking Dandy-style World Premiere. Is there anything coming up this summer that would fit the bill? We're stuck with crap ratings in June but at least that would fix July, August, and September.
