  1. So I guess he's gonna wear Silver Chariot as his armor? NO??
  2. Wow. I guess the discussion waited for 11 PM?? Alrighty then...
  3. Yeah, it's a rerun alright! I think Mayweather/McGregor might be disqualified because it's a PPV, so if DBS is going to capture #1 on Social Media, it will happen tonight!!
  4. Well, turns out their schedule only goes ahead 7 days instead of 8 now, so I won't be able to do it until tomorrow. Oh well.
  5. Episode 2: "World Of Desires" Space. 2:30 AM Tonight (8/26/17), only TOONAMI!!
  6. Episode 5: Silver Chariot OP: ED: Chinese food from hell? No problem, when you've got STANDS!! (even the shark fin soup...) (wait, is that even Chinese??) 12 AM Tomorrow (8/26), ONLY TOONAMI!!
  7. We got episodes #21-#25 of DBS on the Marathon Stream, which I guess is useful if you wanna get caught up on the Frieza saga and you're following the 4-week delayed weekend stream, or something. Honestly, I don't know what the point of this is. Just rewatching, I guess.
  8. What the hell?? Also, I will ask in a tweet to @adultswim, @stupidgill, and @clarknova1 what's up with "Charge", episode #36, being listed as AOT's episode for 9/2, following "Historia," episode #30, the week before, but not UNTIL it appears on the OFFICIAL [adult swim] schedule, which will happen no sooner than Saturday morning. Calling attention to the "backdoor", "better" schedule is a really bad idea.
  9. Outlaw Star's selection couldn't be more appropriate!!

The rest of Toonami, no so much, as the 11 PM Super always tumbles markedly from Family Guy and then JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders tumbles from there, although the drop wasn't as bad in Adults 18-49. That pattern doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon, but things ARE gradually improving! Finally... CURRENT SHOW AVERAGES Total Viewers Dragon Ball Super (Prime Time Premieres) - 842,241 (29 episodes) Dragon Ball Super (Toonami) - 1,044,967 (30 episodes) Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters - 966,710 (31 episodes) JoJo's Bizarre Adv.: Stardust Crusaders - 676,750 (4 episodes) Tokyo Ghoul - 674,368 (19 episodes) Hunter × Hunter - 776,397 (63 episodes) Lupin the 3rd - 505,111 (9 episodes) Naruto: Shippuden - 830,950 (170 episodes) Outlaw Star HD - 456,000 (1 episode) Attack on Titan Season 2 Rerun - 396,000 (4 episodes) Adults 18-49 Dragon Ball Super (Prime Time Premieres) - 412,483 (29 episodes) Dragon Ball Super (Toonami) - 632,700 (30 episodes) Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters - 583,968 (31 episodes) JoJo's Bizarre Adv.: Stardust Crusaders - 411,750 (4 episodes) Tokyo Ghoul - 411,684 (19 episodes) Hunter × Hunter - 463,698 (63 episodes) Lupin the 3rd - 296,444 (9 episodes) Naruto: Shippuden - 461,011 (153 episodes) Outlaw Star HD - 275,000 (1 episode) Attack on Titan Season 2 Rerun - 229,500 (4 episodes) Adults 18-34 (Estimated) Dragon Ball Super (Prime Time Premieres) - 264,286 (28 episodes) Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters - 394,323 (31 episodes) JoJo's Bizarre Adv.: Stardust Crusaders - 280,500 (4 episodes) Tokyo Ghoul - 275,421 (19 episodes) Lupin the 3rd - 205,500 (8 episodes) Lupin has been saved from dropping below 200K 18-34--for now. Although that's also because its 18-34 was unreported last week.
  11. http://programminginsider.com/ratings/final-nationals/saturday-final-nationals-three-year-high-nascar-bristol-night-race-nbc/ Dragon Ball Super at 11 PM got 919K/567K. That puts the average for the block well over 600K, and thus makes it the highest since 7/8. I got 618K/383K 18-49 for the average. That's not too shabby! Also of note is that DBS at 8:30 beat BOTH Rick & Mortys!!
  12. Updated. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-8-19-2017.html#comment-177220 Well, Outlaw Star didn't top Shippuden, but it did do a LOT better than GITS was doing in that timeslot! Edit: Hunter x Hunter added: 11:30 PM DBZ Kai: The Final Chapters 822,000 12:00 AM JJBA: Stardust Crusaders 687,000 (83.58%) 12:30 AM Tokyo Ghoul 637,000 (92.72%) 1:00 AM Hunter × Hunter 601,000 (94.35%) 1:30 AM Lupin The 3rd 508,000 (84.53%) 2:00 AM Naruto: Shippuden 483,000 (95.08%) 2:30 AM Outlaw Star 456,000 (94.41%) 3:00 AM Attack on Titan Season 2 447,000 (98.03%) 3:30 AM Samurai Jack (NPOT) 446,000 (99.78%)
  13. Granted, if they actually did that, I would be ecstatic, but that would be a REALLY bad idea. [unless this time they can air it uncensored] But I gotta say that "Charge" has to be an error. There's no way they would skip from #30 to #36, right??
  14. No excuse?? Even when it has been clearly established that it either stretches or crops out content, which pisses a lot of people off? The only other way would be to animate new content for the sides, and I don't even know how you'd go about that. Even if you could figure it out, it would be prohibitively expensive!!
  15. Wait, you're right. The odd "92-101" numbering scheme of Jack throws me off. This week will be "C", or 100, which is actually Season 5, Episode 9, and then the week of 9/2 will be Season 5, Episode 10. That means AOT #32 & #33 would be paired the following week, #34 & #35 the next, and #36 and #37 the next, which would be 9/23, then new rerun begins 9/30. I would like to see Samurai Champloo get a 2nd HD run!
  16. You're right. One other thing that doesn't add up is that now the AOT that precedes the last episode of Jack will be Episode 7. That means there would be 5 episodes left to double-up if expanding Toonami to 3:30. That's awkward.
  17. I don't believe it will hurt it as bad as you think it will. I think it's down to its core right now. Plus, this IS a PPV. Live cable events seem to hurt worse. But I believe Live PD will get utterly trashed and college football will just keep the beatings coming. Wow, AOT still airing? I didn't see that coming!! If the status quo remains, then that would put it ending Oct. 14 and that slot opening up Oct. 21. I would have hoped we wouldn't lose 8 PM hour to the TTGo Network but that strange development seems to indicate we will. I'd say it's probable that Super premieres continue at 9 PM, with Toonami starting once again at 11:30. I just hate that Toonami can't seem to keep a consistent schedule these days because that's what it takes to build ratings. Still, this would be my "as consistent as possible" arrangement for Oct. 7: 11:30 DBS 12 AM DBZKFC 12:30 Gundam IBO 1 AM Hunter × Hunter 1:30 JJBA: SC 2 AM Shippuden 2:30 Outlaw Star 3 AM Lupin the 3rd 3:30 Rerun TBD This way, Gundam would directly replace Ghoul, and the 3 best performers that aren't DBZ (assuming pre-emptively based on impressive trending for Outlaw Star) would get to keep their timeslots. JoJo and Lupin would be the only two shows dropping considerably. Then again, I don't really think that's going to happen, and I have no qualms with Greed Island Arc of H×H ending up back at 1:30.
  18. Well, numbers are in, and while total viewers went down for some shows, all key demographics improved!! http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-8-19-2017.html 8/19/2017 Dragon Ball Super (8:30) #6 (-1) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.46 Estimated 18-34 - 313,000 ( 35.21% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.37 Estimated 18-49 - 474,000 ( 53.32% ) Total Viewers - 889,000 8/19/2017 DBZ Kai: Final Chapters #4 (STEADY) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.51 Estimated 18-34 - 347,000 ( 42.21% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.41 Estimated 18-49 - 526,000 ( 63.99% ) Total Viewers - 822,000 8/19/2017 JJBA: Stardust Crusaders - #7 (+1) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.46 Estimated 18-34 - 313,000 ( 45.56% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.35 Estimated 18-49 - 449,000 ( 65.36% ) Total Viewers - 687,000 8/19/2017 Tokyo Ghoul - #9 (+12) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.43 Estimated 18-34 - 292,000 ( 45.84% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.32 Estimated 18-49 - 410,000 ( 64.36% ) Total Viewers - 637,000 8/19/2017 Lupin the 3rd - #24 (+34) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.32 Estimated 18-34 - 217,000 ( 42.72% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.24 Estimated 18-49 - 308,000 ( 60.63% ) Total Viewers - 508,000 Believe it or not, that's a new high in Adults 18-49 for Stardust Crusaders! And Lupin managed to climb back over 300K at a time when it sorely needed it!!
