What happened to this thread? I miss the complicated discussions of yester-week! But for my two cents, here is my ranking of the 8 official Toonami shows: 8. Tokyo Ghoul - No idea what the hell is going on in this show, even if it does have decent action. 7. Shippuden - It turned out that the Pains all have a puppet master!! But what a crap reveal! 6. Dragon Ball Super - Beerus is a riot, and Golden Frieza cool, but the pacing is SLOOOOW!! 5. Ghost In The Shell - Daisuke Aramaki is in trouble, as things unravel quickly for Section 9! 4. DragonBall Z Kai Final Chapters - Defiant Buu is defiant, and apparently mad at Dabura for some reason. 3. Hunter x Hunter - All that build-up deflated in kind of a funny way, and it seems Kurapika overheated? 2. Lupin the 3rd - Speaking earlier of Daisukes in trouble, this Jigen-centered episode was great! 1. Attack on Titan Season 2 - Now THIS is how you build up to a season finale! Eren vs. THAT Titan, next week!

He's in center stage in the current Manga arc though. So this leads to an interesting possibility for Toonami viewers: read the manga for the continued adventures of Kurapika, while watching Toonami for the continued adventures of Gon and Killua? I guess it depends on whether or not the current manga chapters would spoil anything from the next 90 episodes. If you're new to Hunter x Hunter (like me) and enjoyed the Yorknew arc, I'd at least look into it.

Wow, I'm afraid you're in the minority there, buddy! But as much as I dig Hunter x Hunter, I wonder if it would have been in Toonami's better interest to acquire Fairy Tail instead?

That's stupid! This show is WAY better than TTGo! It's more like the Justice League Action to the original Justice League!

That's gotta be it! That's the only way any of this makes a lick of sense. Gohan couldn't learn the Instant Transmission so he just atrophied on the existence of other Dragon Balls.

Fun fact: Tony Oliver, who plays Lupin, is also responsible for the voice direction and plays Kortopi in Hunter x Hunter!

Not to mention the Wachowski Bristers!
