Welp. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-10-7-2017.html 10/7/2017 Dragon Ball Super (8:30) #15 (-3) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.48 Estimated 18-34 - 326,000 ( 37.95% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.36 Estimated 18-49 - 462,000 ( 53.78% ) Total Viewers - 859,000 10/7/2017 DBZ Kai: Final Chapters #11 (-1) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.54 Estimated 18-34 - 367,000 ( 45.88% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.41 Estimated 18-49 - 526,000 ( 65.75% ) Total Viewers - 800,000 10/7/2017 JJBA: Stardust Crusaders - #17 (+1) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.44 Estimated 18-34 - 299,000 ( 46.87% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.33 Estimated 18-49 - 423,000 ( 66.30% ) Total Viewers - 638,000 10/7/2017 Gundam IBO - #20 (-2) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.38 Estimated 18-34 - 258,000 ( 44.79% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.30 Estimated 18-49 - 385,000 ( 66.84% ) Total Viewers - 576,000 10/7/2017 Lupin the 3rd - #22 (+4) Adults 18-34 Rating - 0.34 Estimated 18-34 - 231,000 ( 45.03% ) Adults 18-49 Rating - 0.27 Estimated 18-49 - 346,000 ( 67.45% ) Total Viewers - 513,000 These days, as 13 x 2, #26 seems to be twice as unlucky for whichever show it happens for, as it was a ratings low for AOT and is now a ratings low for Gundam IBO as well. This is probably the lowest-rated return for a series we've seen yet. The only saving grace is the demos, in which it was up slightly from its timeslot counterpart, as well as Lupin, but DBZ Kai and JoJo were up pretty bigly. At least it's better in total viewers than Gundam Unicorn finished, so yay for Gundam? -
Somehow all of my recordings from this weekend cut off the first 3 or so minutes of every show, despite the fact that I was able to watch them unimpeded live. Does anyone else have any such weird problems with DirecTV? Thanks, Nate. |:: ohno shithead Edit: Hunter x Hunter was the last show to get screwed up like this. Lupin recorded correctly. Edit: I was wrong. Shippuden was also screwed up. But I think I got all of Outlaw Star at least. Oddly enough, even though they recorded in HD, the HD logo is strangely missing. So that makes it so far: Unwatchable: Dragon Ball Super (11 PM) Screwed up but watchable: JoJo; Gundam IBO; Hunter x Hunter; Shippuden Intact: Lupin the 3rd; Outlaw Star; Dragon Ball Super (8:30 PM) Unknown: DBZ Kai; Bebop Unrecorded: AOT

Only problem is most McDonald's close early on holidays, so if you didn't salvage a packet during open hours, you might be SOL. Also why Chik-Fil-A doesn't sponsor events which occur on Sundays!

Toonami's Most Discussed on the UEMB
OwlChemist81 replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Maybe, but that isn't the point! Regardless of what you set your personal settings to, everyone should have the same ranking by number of posts. But this list's criteria are compiled under the assumption that everyone has the forum default of 10 posts per page! -
Toonami's Most Discussed on the UEMB
OwlChemist81 replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Top 8 most discussed on 10/7/17: #8 Naruto Shippuden - only 4 pages :'( #7 Lupin the 3rd - 9 pages #6 Hunter × Hunter - 10 pages #5 Dragon Ball Super - 11 pages #4 Outlaw Star - 12 pages #3 Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters - 13 pages #2 Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans - 14 pages #1 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - 16 pages "Welcome back!" "Good to be back." Nice return for Gundam IBO, but JoJo shot out the lights! -
JJBASC: I'm not going to resort to spoiling myself, and I haven't watched ahead, but I have a theory that Avdol isn't really dead. Remember, Kakyoin's Hierophant Green can manipulate other stands--well what if it can also assimilate them? Fake Kakyoin--A.K.A. Temperance--was defeated last episode, but what if HG got an ability to briefly have the same power? I can't put my finger on it, but I believe somehow Kakyoin is using a fake Avdol to emotionally manipulate Polnareff and teach him a lesson, because he WAS feuding with Avdol before! Also, this is Part 1 of a 2-parter. Just doesn't seem to make much sense that Avdol is dead in Part 2, does it? The only thing that doesn't gel with that theory is that Kakyoin had a bad feeling about the confrontation with Horse and Hanged Man. But maybe the real Avdol really had nothing to do with that? Maybe this "Avdol" is really HG all along, and Polnareff REALLY got played?

Prediction for this: Coming to Toonami during the next Marathon (predicted to be JoJo: Stardust Crusaders). Maybe starting off the block at 11 PM on October 28th, with JoJo marathon following from like 11:20-3:40 with some really strange ending/beginning times for the 8 episodes, and then finally replaying from 3:45-4 AM. Kinda like they did with "Scavengers" last year on Christmas Eve.

Attack on Titan Season 2 Rerun Discussion
OwlChemist81 replied to Blatch's topic in Episode Discussion Archive
Yeah, there was SOOOOOOOOOO much in that first half of the episode that I had forgotten about! I think the idea that Bertholdt and Reiner really want to be their friends, really want to be soldiers who fight the titans, but because they ARE Titan-shifters, they're forced to attack them by more powerful titans, such as the Beast Titan! -
