  1. Saved by a squid who thinks he's an octopus--how humiliating, Killua... 1 AM Tomorrow night (7/7/18), ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  2. EPISODE 2 - Vanver: A Game In Another Dimension Pipimi and Popuko do...stuff. Midnight tonight (7/7) Only TOONAMI!
  3. Episode 43: The Miasma Of The Void, Cool Ice, Part 2! This guy just sent Avdol to the void, but can the others beat him? Find out tonight (7/7/18) at 12:30, ONLY TOONAMI!! And, don't forget... Hey, y'all misspelled "Bizarre!"
  4. EPISODE 9: "Yeah, Just Do Your Best, Iida!" All Might's past comes back to haunt him! 11 PM tonight (7/7/18), ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  5. Atomsk approaches from the sky--what will Haruko do? And what about the Hidomi-nator?? And Ide??? Tune in and find out; it's sure to be INSANE!!! 11:30 PM tomorrow (7/7/18), ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  6. I think the best chance older Toonami shows have for a weeknight encore is at 9 PM if DBZ Kai takes over 8:30. Funny how this whole thing actually DOESN'T sound so ridiculous anymore, huh?
  7. Yeah, that might be an issue. I think it has been well established that there can be no TV-MA in the 8 PM hour, which rules out an encore for JoJo Parts 1-3 at 8:30. It's pretty much ALL TV-MA! But DBZ Kai, at 8:30, yeah I could see that!
  8. Why not? They did it on April Fool's Day last year, hell that was actually R&M x8!
  9. I've heard that Hamon makes a comeback and the link between Hamon and Stands is finally explained. Yes, there HAVE been Overdrives early in Part 3, specifically dealing with those flesh buds, but it's been mostly all about the Stands!
  10. Pulled, no. Moved down, probably to 2:30 AM to replace Space Dandy on August 11th, now I could see that!
  11. NEXT TIME... DBS gets the exit topical, with a funny clip from the upcoming Beerus Baseball episode! Until next week...LATER! (Well at this time anyway)
  12. While they cleaned up the animation a lot from the original Japanese broadcast in 2015, which was REALLY lazy, you can still see some small elements of badly-drawn Goku. And now Beerus with the finishing blow! The funniest scene is how trashed King Kai's micro-planet is!
  13. Commercial Break--PTE got the leadoff topical. No back-end topical; that spot was filled with a Boomerang ad of all things! And now BACK TO THE ACTION, Super Saiyan 3 Style!
  14. Episode 4 was on yesterday, PTE was the only featured Topical. Tonight we've got Episode 5: "Showdown on King Kai's World! Goku vs. Beerus The Destroyer" And to be honest it really is kind of an underwhelming episode, though there are some funny moments. Also, NO Pre-Flight tonight. It seems this week's will be the FLCL panel tomorrow at AX.
  15. Yeah, I really do think we'll see this, and it would be better for ratings: July 21, 2018: 8 PM Rick & Morty x2 9 PM Family Guy x2 10 PM Dragon Ball Super 10:30 Attack on Titan Season 3 11 PM-4 AM Rest of Toonami 4 AM Rick & Morty x2 5 AM Cleveland Show x2
  16. Ok, you're right about that! Also, unlike the break that we had between Parts 2 and 3, there will be no break between the end of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable!
  17. Yeah, I'd say that's pretty huge, except that FUNi also acquired Darling In The Franxx and we've yet to see that on Toonami either. Then again, perhaps we're better off for that, even if it DOES have Toonami written all over it, it might not be good enough for the Better Cartoon Show. There isn't much precedent of Gridman, but then again, I guess you could say the same about MegaloBox. The only difference is that FUNimation has its own platform for streaming, and Viz doesn't, so MB is almost 90% certain to be Toonami bound, while Gridman is more like 60%.
  18. FUNimation panel just ended. No news yet regarding Attack on Titan Season 3 coming to Toonami, but it is getting a simuldub, and it has its own panel tomorrow.
  19. Probably so, but most likely not with that music, though that music WOULD seem to fit!
  20. Nothing big was announced the rest of Thursday night's panels, well not much we didn't already know, anyway. http://toonamifaithful.com/what-to-watch-for-toonami-related-panels-to-check-out-at-ax2018/
  21. In this thread, we post news from AX that might affect the future of Toonami, including possible acquisitions. First up is a title that many have suspected would be a great fit for Toonami from the Spring 2018 season: Viz Media acquires MegaloBox: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-07-05/viz-media-adds-smashed-junji-ito-story-collection-manga-megalobox-anime/.133827
  22. You mean "Animes", right?? Might wanna fix that... If we're talking only original series, and no spinoffs, continuations, or reboots: Cowboy Bebop 2018 Trigun 2006 FLCL 2018 Evangelion 2007 Wolfs Rain never InuYasha 2014 Ghost in Shell 2018 Full Metal Alchemist 2010
  23. This just in, for MONDAY night: http://programminginsider.com/monday-final-ratings-braves-yankees-is-yes-networks-highest-rated-non-red-sox-telecast-in-four-years/ Dragon Ball Super (repeat) (ADSM, 8:00 PM, 30 min.)• 0.455 million viewers (#75)• 0.28 HH (#77)• 0.16 A18-49 (#62)• 0.18 A18-34 (#39)• 0.15 A25-54 (#90) Pretty respectable for a weeknight rerun with no advertising, eh? At least it managed to beat the midnight hour and beyond of Toonami last week in total viewers!
  24. Hmmm, Pop Team Epic got the topical tonight. Actually, there were 2--one for Dragon Ball Super's new episode as well...but this is totally the perfect built-in timeslot to plug Toonami shows!
