Sure hope you like these 5 episodes of Samurai Champloo, because it looks like that's all you're gonna get until Monday night, as it seems the short-lived Friday Night Advance is now a thing of the past! Well, it was good while it lasted, giving us 10-packs of JoJo Egypt Arc and the end of Gundam IBO. I know it might have something to do with Jason's leave of absence due to his mom's death, but hopefully someday this marathon stream will come up with some imagination, as watching the same 5 episodes over and over all week long begins to get BORING! Well, at least there's a new Pre-Flight this week. That's something, right?

I believe we'll have new themes tomorrow, but I'm not sure. A new story arc begins tomorrow, or does it?? Guess you'll just have to tune in and find out! 1:30 AM tomorrow night (6/23); Only Toonami...well on cable TV anyway...

This is kind of a weird review. This dude talked glowingly about the episode, but gave it a mere B+: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/flcl-progressive/episode-3/.133015 However, we DO now know we can probably attribute the ratings dip in Episode 2 to it being off-model and done by outside animators, not Production I.G. This week we see what 4 has in store, and I hope it just continues to get better!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he actually swapped them. If there were two of one number, that would REALLY cause hell to break loose! It will be interesting to see what Heroes actually does regarding the canonization of every previous Dragon Ball series. But I say that Super's 12 Universes DOES make this timeline plausibly canon; it just obviously occurs along a different timeline from Super. These poor people don't even know there's a Beerus!

Well, let's put it this way--they ARE actually airing Pop Team Epic next week! That would have been unthinkable a year ago! Subtitles are "the last frontier", one that they actually crossed on April Fool's Day. But it only makes sense for stuff that isn't dubbed yet if it's tried otherwise.

…well, turns out I was wrong. They actually just kept streaming these episodes of One-Punch Man all weekend, but the stream DID go down overnight on the 17th through the 18th. We'll probably get something new tonight, I guess...

Even with the bizarre, anticlimactic ending, Beerus made the ultimate non-sequitur: "You Saiyans are getting hooked on Divine help!" Darn right they are; they just used the GEORGE JETSON method to beat the big bad of this arc! And I don't know how Future Bulma will deal with Future Trunks and Future Mai essentially both being identical twins!
