  1. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/sword-art-online-alicization/episode-17/.142926 Grade: "B+". Apparently better than that episode of Promised Neverland?? ON to JoJo!
  2. So we ended on a cliffhanger, but ironically less of one than we began on!
  3. You mean Alice? I actually disagree. She took out TWO of those damn things!
  4. I had a feeling those statues were no good! Also, nice tribute to Disney's Gargoyles!
  5. I've heard of ending on a cliffhanger, but spending the entire episode on one is ridiculous! "UNC..."?
  6. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/the-promised-neverland/episode-7/.143766 Grade: "B". I don't agree that NOTHING happened in this episode, as Krone got some BAD news at the end! ON To SAO!!
  7. So apparently we've got a new rating system with this season. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/attack-on-titan/episode-50/.146241 Rating: 4 stars out of 5. I'll give 'em that the first half WAS kind of slow, but the 2nd half was FIRE! Oh well, ON to TPN!
  8. I'm back guys; did I miss something!? OH DAMN!
  9. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/dragon-ball-super/episode-112/.123031 Grade: "B". I thought this episode was quite a bit better than last week's, but I guess the reviewer doesn't agree. On to...what was it again?
  10. I really don't care. We've heard the full version QUITE enough!
  11. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/my-hero-academia/episode-51/.133642 Grade: "A". "In the wake of the transcendent All For One fight, this show is radiating with a freshness and a knack for entertainment that's unusually strong. We're in "how the hell does a show this good exist?" territory." I couldn't agree more! ON TO a show that's decent but not quite as good, Dragon Ball Super!
  12. He's utterly incorrigible! OH, THAT'S HIS GAME! That's...weird...
  13. Where are you getting this idea? Oh, not back-to-back on the schedule but back-to-back in announcements. If the lineup is not shuffled, Gundam will be at midnight and Lupin at 1. But you're missing the elephant in the room: Hunter x Hunter ends between the two on 6/22 with the open timeslot on 6/29, and apparently they can't announce its replacement yet. If it's something new, there HAS to be a shakeup. Since it comes curiously in-between two "Old-man" anime picks, it seems it almost has to be something hot and new. If we're talking Viz, JoJo Part 5 would probably fit the bill, but that's ironically another "old-man" anime!
  14. Just before Kisame wreaks havoc on Naruto's friends on Shippuden, watch his younger clansman Shizuma assault Boruto and HIS ninja pals! It's kind of like the opening act before the main event--at 2 in the morning! TONIGHT (5/25) Only Toonami!!
  15. Eh, we'll take a bonus this week since they apparently got so busy getting ready for MomoCon they forgot to make a topical, or maybe AOT's promo just took its place? Fluctlights never looked so fluctin' good!!
  16. MSG might also get a remake using more "modern" animation. Or Toonami may re-acquire the rights to the 1979 series and put that on after 2 AM at the same time the Hollywood movie is in theaters. That might be a wise move. I predict MSG: The Origin will likely take the midnight timeslot from Promised Neverland, but it might get inched up to 11:30 once AOTS3 ends for its final stretch of episodes. The X-Factor is Lupin the 3rd Part 5--will it simply take the 1 AM timeslot from JoJo, causing minimum disturbance, or will it "shuffle the deck" when it arrives? As for the "other" Part 5, JoJo's, it will arrive when it's ready. There are plenty of timeslots left it can take and shows it can replace: Hunter x Hunter on 6/29, though that would cause a shakeup. Sword Art Online: Alicization on 7/20 Attack on Titan OR My Hero Academia on 9/7 Or MSG: The Origin sometime in October if the dub is THAT slow...
