  1. This is a concept which I feel is a long time coming: a regular repository for all those topical and long-form show promos and schedule promos Toonami puts a large amount of thought and talent into making extraordinary!! First up, JULY 6/7 ATTACK ON TITAN - 11:30 PM SWORD ART ONLINE - MIDNIGHT FOOD WARS - 1 AM GUNDAM: THE ORIGIN - 3 AM And I think that's all!
  2. This also happened recently... Check out @AoTWiki’s Tweet: https://twitter.com/AoTWiki/status/1147362645122568192?s=09
  3. On to phase 2 of the Provisional Hero exam--a rescue mission!! Catch it if you can, at 3:30 AM--I'm Sure it will be great!! ONLY TOONAMI!! [make academia great again]
  4. Even Pop Team Epic had its moments of brilliance... [admit it]
  5. This is Episode 18 of Season 3... Huh!? What's going on here!? Guess you're just gonna have to watch and find out!!
  6. Only Toonami -- At 3 AM! Permission to launch for abject failure in the ratings? [permission granted]
  7. EPISODE 23: ADMINISTRATOR Get ready for the penultimate episode, featuring Quinella just as naked and as arrogant as ever... Can the quartet of Kirito, Eugeo, Alice, and Cardinal take her down, or will her reign of terror continue? Find out tomorrow night (7/6) at Midnight, ONLY TOONAMI!!
  8. You mean Toonami FINALLY gets a ufotable show!? Amazing!! Also, it won't be replacing SAO--it's coming this FALL! Lack of timeslot isn't the issue, so perhaps it's dubbing?
  9. It's so absurd that a show that got under 200K in the ratings last week can be called a "hit", but here we are...
  10. So like the 2nd coming of Akame Ga KILL!!?
  11. Obviously, this is replacing SAO at Midnight, and I'd say probably moving up to 11:30 in August once AOT S3 ends. I'm sticking with my prediction that they won't be rolling out a new show to replace AOT, which will fall to 3:30 AM for reruns, and depending upon whether or not they can leapfrog the Narutoverse hour, Gundam to 1:30 or 2:30 and MHA to 2 or 3. The future may be quite bright for Toonami after all!!!
  12. Hey, it had its moments of brilliance, and it was Toonami on [as]'s highest-rated series ever! (That could have been DBZ Kai, but Final Chapters fucked it up)
  13. This just in! Attack on Titan: Season 3 and Sword Art Online: Alicization DO have topical promos this week: Though that one is strangely misleading--oh well; SAO is definitely right... Ah, Quinella, still just as naked and arrogant as ever, just like our president. Well, not quite as naked in the case of the latter, thank God! Happy 4th of July, everyone!!
  14. Hopefully Blade Runner will be different. What else could Toonami co-produce that people will actually care about?
  15. There IS good news though: for what it's worth, the average for the 1st half of 2019 has officially beaten the 2nd half of 2018: All Toonami timeslots 7/7/18-12/30/18 average: 364,922 total viewers; 207,359 adults 18-49 All Toonami timeslots 1/5/19-6/30/19 average: 389,621 total viewers; 237,746 adults 18-49
  16. Wanna see something even WORSE? Toonami got these kinds of ratings just a year ago. The multiple-rerun shitcoms on Nick at Nite actually beat most shows on Toonami by nearly a 2-1 margin!

In fact, this time Dragon Ball Super couldn't even hold a candle to it: 6/29/19 - Adults 18-49 Show Viewers Retention DBZ Kai 103,000* DBS (R) 115,000* 111.65%* TOONAMI F. Too bad in only 14 weeks we're out of Dragon Ball Super premieres...
  18. Ouch. 6/29/19 - Total Viewers Show Viewers Retention DBZ Kai 249,000 DBS (R) 253,000 101.61% MHA 438,000 #DIV/0! Only the Boruto marathon + Pop Team, Gundam IBO, and Jack last year was worse; even the Attack on Titan marathon bookended by DBZ Kai and Jack just barely edged this out. THIS is why My Hero Academia is moving to 3:30 and the Family Guy x2/DBS combo being restored.

  20. So that means we might see an 8-year old Bright. This could be interesting!
  21. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand this would be why this show deserves to be at 3:30 AM instead of the far superior MHA, especially if it's going to go into filler hell, which is even more directionless than the main canon story!
  22. One more episode with no OP. So far there have been 3 tonight: AOT, TPN, and HxH!
  23. Holy shit, what are they gonna do with all these!?!? Oh. I guess it's WAR next week!!
  24. One week and 18 minutes until this awesomeness!! "Suit up again, for the first time!" I do think it's kinda unfair that we have to sit through ANOTHER episode of Shippuden to get there though!
